Just passed my test cheers pin
Ответитьi have a 1.7 Zafira and the car speeds up significantly if i coast the car scary stuff don't do it :(
ОтветитьVhb
ОтветитьLmao just passed the driving test and now I'm just learning it for more tips to smoothen my driving stylr.
ОтветитьI still coast a lot when I drive, bad habit I have ever since I passed back in 2013. But I don't think it's too dangerous, since it's usually accompanied by the brake when I do it.
ОтветитьJust passed my test 2hours ago, and I can say with 33hours of practice of driving and plenty of hours watching ultimate driving courses videos. Help me a lot, on the test be more confident and gave me much more knowledge than I expected thank you again, boss! :)
ОтветитьSome automatic cars coast by design when you take your foot off the accelerator
ОтветитьIs it ok to do coasting while approaching a traffic signal
ОтветитьAre u going to upload brandons lesson today Pin?
Ответитьis this the same for diesel cars?
Ответить3 months left for my car mot will it be allowed for a driving test
ОтветитьIf im approaching a turning, island, junction, traffic lights, crossing, anything at all, my instinct is clutch, then brake, and i keep my clutch and brake down to slow down until the turn and then once im around it, i pick the gear suitable for my new speed, and then continue. Ive never had my car speed up from coasting because im always braking at the same time🤔i know its wrong, but never had a single minor for it and have done 4 tests and its never even been mentioned to me, idk why
ОтветитьDGN driving school has helped me massively upto my test. I’m pleased to say I passed today with only 4 minors 👌🏻👌🏻
I wish whoever has a test to say good luck and not to stress 🎉
Thanks Pin
ОтветитьNot gone cap, you mad intimidating
ОтветитьI feel like sometimes in these situations when I fully lift off the clutch it makes the car jump a bit, any tips?
ОтветитьCan you bring the clutch back up whilst on your break? Will it not stall without adding gas?
ОтветитьCoasting always not bad for reverse and in right uphill turn in 2nd gear not possible without coasting car will stall .
Coasting has also some benifites but most of cade should avoid
The best instructor ever i passed today my test ,,, thanks to this videos and his advice , definitely he is the best instructor !!
ОтветитьThank you very much
ОтветитьBrilliant demonstration of this issue.
I however😂let my car glide in neutral as often as possible – not just with the clutch compressed, but literally allowing momentum with no pedals engaged at all..
man literally came back to his original spot in every cut to show the correct way, mad props for the hardwork for our viewing experience
ОтветитьI feel like I have better control when I stay on the clutch whilst turning...😶 Anyways, I sometimes make both of those mistakes but I didn't really realise. My instructor never explicitly said anything 😩 she just says "is your foot still on the clutch? Why is it still on the clutch?" But she doesn't say what's actually wrong with it. And if I leave it till a little later, she says I'm leaving it too late.
ОтветитьI’ve never done that. I brake, push the clutch in, down shift to 2nd and accelerate off the clutch around the turn. Altho I learned to drive manual in the US. Only use engine braking on hills, around town no. Brakes are cheaper to replace than a clutch/engine.
ОтветитьThanks Pin, I'm hopefully starting to train to be an ADI soon. In the mean time I'm reflecting on what I might already be doing wrong and I've noticed I'm definitely doing this 😅. Massive help thank you!
ОтветитьI love you 🤩 thanks alot
Ответитьthank you it was so useful for me.
ОтветитьExcellent
Ответитьmy instuctor taught me to keep the clutch down then gental breaking
ОтветитьWhat about when you’re on the motorway/dual carriageway and need to slow down/come to a stop? Feel like you need to put clutch down first otherwise you’d be in gear 6 whilst reducing speed a lot.
I put clutch down, brake and go neutral and adjust gear to the speed that I need to
Thank you, this was only thing I had an issue within my first driving lesson
ОтветитьHello mate i am very happy to tell you i have passed my driving test today🎉 and your videos helped me very much to make it thank you god bless you keep helping people and it will come back
I will certainly suggest your channel to everyone I know who wants to learn to drive 😊🤗❤️✌🏼☮️
Big thank you and virtual hugs🤗🤗
I wish i can see this video early
ОтветитьHey that was short and everything great 👍
Ответитьcan you do a video on engine braking please
ОтветитьGlad I'm doing it right, I didn't remember learning about it since its been 5 years already, but my body still remember the right way to do it
ОтветитьI tried that but my car just goes weird if I don’t put my foot on the gass with it straight away
Ответитьjust realised I've been driving for 10 years and just found out that ive been coasting the whole time. On your "not to do" examples i do that every time. Getting into 2nd gear BEFORE turning left seems so weird to me haha
ОтветитьThis is so clear,I really know how to avoid the coasting now, thank you.
Ответитьi passed my test woo hoo !!!!
ОтветитьI am glad it is not just me doing it wrong.
ОтветитьWhat would you say about coasting down a steep hill in a residential estate becuase you are under 10mph Pin?, this is something I struggle with
ОтветитьLess control??? But how comes if I’m on the brake
ОтветитьI’ve been driving for 14 years now and I’ve had a manual car for 8 of those and I realized I have definitely been taking turns the WRONG way! Old habits die hard I suppose. Sometimes it feels more comfortable for me to keep the clutch in while turning and then shift into gear after the turn, especially if I hadn’t slowed my car early enough, but I’ve developed the habit in the past few years of slowing down a lot earlier so I can shift into 2nd gear before the turn and not jerk the car around at all. It does feel a lot safer doing it this way for sure. Thanks so much for the tips this was super helpful!
ОтветитьIs this the same for trucks? With manual transmission
ОтветитьMy boyfriend had his license for over 15 years and I just recently got mine and he was taught to press the clutch down when turning, and when I told him not to do that he gave me a speech that he has been doing this his whole life.
Could this be the reason why his car's clutch is in such a poor shape? When I tried driving his car, his clutch had no momentum and I couldn't move the car without practically flooring the gas pedal. He says that it is fine and his car is just like that (it is a Skoda Fabia from 2005 I think).
Im coasting since 20 years, been thinking a lot about it, but i also do not think id be able to drive safely without it anymore, so it is how it is
ОтветитьI read to put the clutch down when breaking to be safer, but now I think this is coasting?? Xxx
ОтветитьThanks boss! Quick, concise and informative
