IM A MIDDLE SCHOOLER XC AND TRACK THERE IS NO WAY IM RUNNING MORE THAN 4 MILES!?!
ОтветитьDon’t remind me of track dude 😭
ОтветитьI can do a 2 MINUTE warm up 🤣🥲 LOL
Ответить“Do a two mile warm up” ok
“1 minute hard” oh ok
“2 minutes recovery” okay makes sense
“Do that 8 times” 💀💀💀
Lol my coach makes us do 5 hard 2 recovery
Ответитьthat 2 mile warm up is double of my actual running routine 🥵
ОтветитьYo guys am texting this from soul society this workout is killer 🤣😝❤️🔥
ОтветитьGo run.
ОтветитьFor beginners, simply do everything he said, except, just cut everything in half. Instead of a two mile warmup do a one mile warm up. Instead of running hard for one minute, only run hard for 30 seconds. And finally, cut the sets in half.
ОтветитьThats 16 + miles...
ОтветитьHell on earth
Ответитьwill the 2 min recovery be at a full stop of jogging slow ?
ОтветитьNah i can run faster with out rules
ОтветитьMy coach does this but he does a 2 minute hard and 30 seconds easy
Ответить2 mile warmup? Buddy i run 1 mile and be exhausted
ОтветитьThats what we call intervals.
ОтветитьSimilar to 400 repeats
Ответить2 mile warm up is crazy
ОтветитьThanks for. Training
ОтветитьMy african friend said the warm up should be 42KM.
ОтветитьFartlek
Ответитьwarm up? that's the whole workout for me
ОтветитьFartlek(g) sounds like farting every second step and every mile changing the "fartleg"😂
ОтветитьAs someone who does cross country I personally hate these but I also understand why we do them lol
ОтветитьI’m going to do that now .
ОтветитьSounds good. I'm training for a marathon. Will surely try this. Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьBro said 8 times 💀
ОтветитьNever seen so many people who can’t run 2 miles commenting on running tip video
ОтветитьThe rest is supposed to be equal or less than the amount of hard time on
ОтветитьWhat kind of shoes are those
Ответить1k warmup makes more sense for most people (it shouldn't be too much shorter than that unless your warmup is at an extremely slow pace)
ОтветитьI would say 1ish miles
ОтветитьThis is a good workout but you guys need to know that this isn’t for everyone it’s specifically for marathoners and half marathoner which is what he is. I did workouts like this as a freshman going to xc and it was too much for me to handle, I ended up almost getting a stress fracture because I had no clue what I was doing. Overall, good workout so I would say make the warmup a time goal like 10 aerobic minutes followed by the 1 hard 2 easy and then another 10 easy minutes for cooldown
ОтветитьThis is NOT fartlek training. This is just an interval speed workout. Fartlek training is similar, but each interval is not the same as all the others. Fartleks are more unstructured--varying intensity and distance each interval. Not a bad workout. Just not a true "Fartlek" one.
ОтветитьA fart what?
ОтветитьDude if I can do 7 miles I don’t need help
Ответить2 miles would be the entire workout for me.
I can barely run half a mile non-stop
Is it ok if I spread this throughout the day I am a new runner and can’t run 2 miles as a warmup
ОтветитьNo i think ill stay with my 4.5 miles warmup and a 1min and 30 recovery and then sprint 6.5 miles and then take a 2 min break then i run 8 mile
Edit:Ive been running 2 years
I’m not David goggins your just showing off
ОтветитьWe do this every Tuesday and Thursday with intervals on Monday and a base run on Wednesday 👍
ОтветитьChange that 2 mile warm up to 10-15 minutes
Ответитьso are runners just people with an extra 2 hours in their day to get sweaty af?
ОтветитьI’ve been doing this twice a week for a month and it’s helped so much!!
Ответитьkeep in mind depending on what distances you are training for you can scale this workout up or down.
ОтветитьIf a 2 mile warm up sounds crazy right now, thats okay, just breakdown the workout.
Do a 1 mile warm up and 30 seconds fast, 1 - 2 mins slow, repeat, 1 mile cool down.
If thats still crazy, cut that in half.
As my fart start to Burst out While am running😩
Ответить7-10 miles???
ОтветитьIf there’s more than 2 miles in one set and there’s eight sets isn’t that over 16 miles
ОтветитьJust posted a new YT video talking about my top marathon training tips! Check it out!
