What is the difference between this dyno and a Clayton load bearing dyno???

What about dyno testing and automatic with a high stall converter, would it cheat the dyno then?

This actually is a load bearing dyno. It's offers both. Inertia and load bearing options.

It's a little more tricky, but no - it won't cheat the dyno.

Does testing start from a dead stop or when are the results gathered

Can a dyno measure torque at low revs? Like 500-1000 rpm? Or even under 500?

If we do a dyno for an ATV again and again without changing any setting(Tuning) there is a always very small difference in the RPM value.....Why is it so??
Is it because of Temp. and Humidity or something more technical??
Reply ASAP

Why do some dynos do not have a crossover at 5252?

You said you are measuring force which is mass x acceleration, but I also understood that an inertia type dyno measures horsepower which is simply defined as power/work over time. Torque ( twisting force) is calculated via the tach signal, and if a Dynojet actually measured force Torque you would see results of over 1000 lb/ft on a bone stock performance car through gear multiplication right?

Doesn't take into account weight of the car and down force

Pretty good video but the part about him saying you can't cheat the dyno that's a lie. Bc with the Eddie break used the numbers are more accurate to road conditions. With the break off free rolling it's about the same as putting it on jack stands and flooring it so there's no load on it car will make at least 20 to 30 more horsepower if not more which is not true number. But either way it's only a tuning tool so who cares about Dyno numbers

Here's so wrong on that cheating the dyno. Bc yes you can by two different ways. One is turning the Eddie break off which puts no load on the car which will give higher numbers. 2nd the barometric module. You can place it in front of a fan with cool air passing threw it which will read higher numbers as if you was running in winter time. So yes you can cheat the Dyno numbers

I can't believe that beginning comment that you don't need to know the HP formula. To me that makes these guys pretty arrogant, knowledge is the key to understanding the basics is not a good way add performance to your ride. If you don't learn it yourself your just trusting others to make decisions for you, or throw parts at tuning that other say this and say that about. I guess that's fine for posers.
