Don't copy LZJ you'll get injured
ОтветитьI have a really good smash, the only problem is I do not connect with all of them well. 6/10 smashes I connect with really well and the ones I don't connect well with, give me arm pain at times. I would like to know why this happens? I only play once or twice a week as well so not that I can spend time practising. Open to your suggestions
ОтветитьJust sayin if all fails there's always shouting to scare tactic.👍
Ответитьwhat is Zheng's current racket?
ОтветитьTHIS is judt what I needed. I am planning to train my smashes with a coach because smashes are cool. Thanks Jen and Greg you guys are really awesome online coaches for me.
ОтветитьThis has made me improve so much. Thank u
ОтветитьGreat tips. Many focus on powerful smashes only, this is real pro tips to focus on placement too . Also like previous videos on variation
Ответитьnot gonna lie, i’m not so good at doubles but my attacking game in singles is just what made me top my school (might go for state player but im also focusing on studies). this smash tutorial is indeed perfect for intermediate to advanced players who want to launch fireworks in tournaments or training/sparring in school :)
ОтветитьHi Greg and jenny, thanks for this video. I'm an intermediate MD player that meets all 3 requirements. However, I still don't have that nuclear smash as some of my counterparts.
[Imagine Kevin sanjaya vs goh v shem; obviously I'm not that good but even in their prime they have different smash power] I think im too lean and don't have enough bicep.
I'm wondering what workouts i could do to generate that kind of nuclear smash.
Thanks again and great video!
For the non-racket arm, my coach described it as pulling your elbow in to force your torso to rotate outwards when you're making the shot. It does help a lot because your body will naturally want to rotate, making the movement a lot smoother.
ОтветитьIs it okay for my grip to be slightly towards a panhandle? (very small), I feel like its hard for me to hit it flat when I use an ordinary forehand grip (i have a tendency to slice it).
ОтветитьI agree with Zheng on this one, a powerful smash that does not get you a point is not a good smash, it’s the ones that have good placements (powerful or not) that get’s you the points are the good ones.
ОтветитьMairs/Mairs VS Watanabe/Taguchi 😭
Ответитьplease guide that how to keep the racket string face perfectly straight while hitting the cock? how to avoid slicing the smash?
ОтветитьTHANKS FOR THE TIPSS!!!
ОтветитьI need to train more. I tried to SMASH the subscribe button, my rotation, timing, placement was off, and I missed! Second try, I got the like! I'm definitely watching the future videos!
ОтветитьThank you for investing in equipment 🏹 😜 I am currently working on improving my smash, I had indeed noticed all of the points covered, but the editing and the illustration that you make of it will be of great help. Thanks again
ОтветитьI tried a jump smash without guide so my racket turned into a real racket 😅
ОтветитьWOW when i found this chanel my badminton skills improved tysm guys!
ОтветитьI know and understand all of these tips, but during game can't use them.
ОтветитьWhy you guys don’t wanna show smashes of Fu Haifeng and Lin Dan since they were the best smashers?
ОтветитьOne thing to add about body smashes: This is especially effective against taller player, because they usually have longer arms as well. Having long arms makes it even harder to get the racket in the right position around the hip/upper body. On the other hand, tall players with long arms can sometimes reach shuttles down the line that a smaller player wouldn't be able to return. So this is something to consider as well
ОтветитьExtra merchandizing idea: sell the cut outs! I would love to use it to train my smashes on real size Greg and Jenny 🎉😅
ОтветитьAre both of you on a relationship 💓💓
