Democrats jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire by getting Gaetz to quit and enabling Trump to replace him with Bondi, a real bulldog of an AG. With Gaetz they would have had the illusion of Gaetz acting out of bias, which would have benefitted democrats politically, but not with Bondi. She has a very long track record of being a bulldog of an AG when it came to enforcing the written letter of the law. Democrats are now in serious trouble or at least all that did not take their oath to office or the written letter of the law as seriously as they should have, especially when it comes to immigration laws, public safety, national security protocols and every Americans rights to due process.
