ОтветитьRIP John Mayall
ОтветитьNorm, I was homeless in NJ for three years (2015-2018). I know how impossibly fraught that circumstance is. The fact that you, and the artists you have cited, have a heart to support those who are disenfranchised says so much. Thank you for your efforts and your heart.
ОтветитьNorm puts his money where his mouth is. A sterling humanitarian. Mayall’s Blues from Laurel Canyon !
ОтветитьRip John 🤧🎸❤
ОтветитьBello/Magnifico.😭✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️✡️
ОтветитьHuge loss to the world ! (RIP - John Mayall)
ОтветитьA classic English gentleman. A humble man of music who loved to see others shine. I think that's where Clapton got his humility from. To take joy in the accomplishments of others. John was happy to see band mates take their time in the spotlight.
Wonderful tribute Norm. John is a legend.
Heavenly Everlasting Prayers my sincere condolences Amen !!!!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

ОтветитьFair winds and following seas, John Mayall

You are missed 🙏🏻🤍
You are such a fine Human being Norm!❤ Not bad on that B3 either😉 With out JM would the Blues have ever come back home? 🙏🏻. RIP
ОтветитьSimple & moving.
ОтветитьGoodnight John ' ...a very nice tribute Norm thanks. In the 1940s, my Father went to school with John during his formative years' in Cheadle Hulme, England UK, John actually lived in a Tree house in his parents back garden - even then showing his rebellious and inspiring direction RIP.
ОтветитьJohn Mayall shaped music as we know it today. His clarity of vision and his dedication to his art as a purist dragged dozens of other huge musicians along in his wake.
ОтветитьI saw John at the Shrine Auditorium twice back in the 60's and he changed me to blues fan, RIP John. George in Montana
ОтветитьHe was a legend that probably sold more guitars than anyone.
ОтветитьThey always talk about coaching trees, John had a music tree that was unmatched.
ОтветитьGod bless you Norm
ОтветитьDear Norman, first and foremost...my deep condolences to hear your dear friend John Mayall recently passed away. My younger brother (bass player) and I meet John Mayall in the late '90s. Really nice gent. The Maritime Hall in San Francisco. John Mayall was billed that evening with James Cotton (another cool gent), Jimmy Ray Vaughn. What a legacy. My older brother use to rightfully play that "Blues Breaker LP" quite often. When making my next donation. Will keep Midnight Mission in queue.
R.I.P. always, John Mayall.
Your a Good Man Norm!!!!
Ответить😿💙🤍💜❤
ОтветитьOh no!
ОтветитьHaving recently seen footage on Australian TV of the state the homeless are enduring on LA streets is heart wrenching..
Here in Oz & in most major cities we to have citizens suffering the same plight..it’s a worldwide crisis taking place!
People like yourself & your wonderful contributors help the pain & suffering a tad bearable..you’re a man of the people with a heart of gold Norm..
R.I.P. John, Thanks for the music.🙏
ОтветитьDear John Mayall, I loved his music and I still have my Beano LP all these years later. I was lucky enough to see him with the Bluesbreakers back in the 60's at Mothers Club in Birmingham UK. Eric Clapton had left and I think Mick Taylor was playing guitar.
He had a good innings and he was a grand old age and carried on playing all those years but even so when his death was announced it still came as a shock. We tend to think of our musical heroes as immortal but obviously they are not, they are just like us.
I like to think of him as sitting on a cloud doing a bit of jamming with Peter Green. Bless them both.💖
Rest buddy. Thanks for the music.
What’s the guitar he’s holding?
❤❤
ОтветитьYour A Top Man Norm for the work you do for the homeless, and it’s so true that some musicians are only a bad move away from being homeless, and that’s what’s wrong with the world, no one should be homeless, 😔.. RIP John Mayall Godfather of the British Blues Movement 🙏⭐️🌞❤️🎸
ОтветитьThank you for remembering John Mayall! And supporting the Midnight Mission.
ОтветитьGreat guy, great musician
ОтветитьA very sad loss for blues music. John was a pioneer and a great musician and person. He brought so many young players through and your tribute was very fitting. 🙏
Ответить🙈1975 New Year, New Band, New Company❤☀️
🙈1975 Notice to Appear☀️❤
GOD BLESS
ОтветитьCheers Norm, his was the music I followed when I was a young teenager, a big influence on all that a lot of us did with 'the blues'. His Blues Alone album is testament to that, God bless John.
ОтветитьIl m'a enchanté depuis que j'étais adolescent et aujourd'hui encore, à 72 ans, dès que j'entends les premières notes au piano de " Mists of time " j'ai les larmes aux yeux ...
