I highly recommend going down the crown a democratic king path for Hungary. You’re not forced to fight for your former territories, but instead can have referendums to gain them back. And you can unite with Romania peacefully and Sweden to form a greater Hungarian kingdom. The Democratic king is Carl V Wilhelm of Sweden, so that’s why you can get possibly unite with Sweden if you control their territories. It was pretty fun and I played in a non-historical world.

It is absolutely stupid that you can only demand territory in the Historical/Fascist and Austro-Hungarian Paths, while the rest just give war goals
