I tried it yesterday, it's laging so i can't really tell if the controls is ok, but i think game objectives and the winning mechanics is decent. 8/10 will stay to vg.

This is another game, how semc says another game play was the goal when he says about spell fire, vg is years far from this, the first mobile to really catch me, and i enjoy only this last year whit vg, and very sad because i have a lot a fun, whit a game who challenge, more than any other moba on play store, and this is new i heard but still a new game, far away from vg, sad for vg...

They should have focused on VG

I just played this 4-5min. and i just got bored,, not the type of game that i would expect from SEMC, this is absolutely trash! Sorry for what i say but i think VainGlory is much LOVED better than this game. I hope they will bring back the glory days of VainGlory!!! Compete with LOLMWR.💪

Catalyst Black is still at an early stage of development, I think it’s rather unfair to compare Vainglory (a product that was finalized) to Catalyst Black which is still in development:

However, I think it’s fair to say that Catalyst Black is two steps ahead of where Vainglory once was. Catalyst Black has one thing that Vainglory sadly never had, and that’s a team with a lot of knowledge, experiences, and learnings under their belt; a team that is bound to NOT make the same mistakes from the past. Although many devs that worked with Vainglory are still part of SEMC and are behind Catalyst Black as well, prior to Catalyst Black they were learning a handful of things with Vainglory about the industry as they went, and sadly they made numerous mistakes that cost them. On the positive, these mistakes made SEMC stronger, more knowledgeable, and hungrier to succeed with Catalyst Black and future endeavours. To many of us even once Catalyst Black is finalized Vainglory will still be the best but at the end of the day mistakes were made that cost SEMC heavily and they had to move on, SEMC didn’t just wake up one day and say “screw Vainglory,” moving on was something they had to do. Catalyst Black is moving forward with a creative strategy from SEMC which involves looking into the failings of Vainglory, learning from these missteps and coming up with incredible ideas to execute Catalyst Black's release to perfection and going into the future. Catalyst Black has something to look back on and say “Okay, here’s where we made mistakes. What can we do to not make those same errors again?” This puts Catalyst Black two steps ahead of where Vainglory was at the beginning, this is going to help Catalyst Black become the game we once imagined Vainglory could be, and that makes me happy. - I have faith in them.
