I immediately thought it was just what that Kai was talking about when he wanted gohan to go super saiyan while in ultimate form. So it’s super saiyan ultimate gohan or (ultimate super saiyan gohan)?

I like to headcanon that Gohans human side plays a part by heightening his emotions to the extremes, something saiyans may not have had due to their biology, allowing him to pour more emotion and power into his transformation

before watching i'm gonna say this right now what i think gohan beast really is, it's the transformation mix between a human and a saiyan, meaning gohan has only been using half his power... think of it this way, humans can also technically be called " bald thinking apes " meaning a powerful combo of saiyan and human powers melded, imagine the oozaru form be less chunky more hair if gohan transformed into it using both traits together. i think he's tapping into that type of thing.

Gohan's beast form is lame. No way he can be stronger than goku, that's trained with Gods and angels. Just more bad writing! Gohan and piccolo haven't been relevant is such a long time. It's a totally a$$ pull to try to make two characters that dude pretty much wrote out along time ago relevant again in a horrible way. Just all bad. Next piccolo is going to have a different color for every day of the week to.

Yes but the hair color could be a sign of peace but the purple aura and eye color is chaos. There is no peace without chaos and vice versa. Gohan to achieve something new first we saw a white bird(dove) here we didnt see any animal but the form is his true self meaning the hair color signs peace enveloped in chaos because of the thought of piccolo who was a father figure to him. While 16 was a peace figure. I still believe that this form is a clash of gohans nature. You need chaos to be peace but you need peace to uphold chaos

also noone mentions anything about how now dr.hedo is in team bulma, so the writers will have to get creative in why they cant have another strong character for upcoming fights (like how Buu is always hibernating, or Goku/Vegita always on god planet)
this dude literally made 3 androids stronger than cell in like what, a week? and the only reason the Gammas arent even stronger is because he only made em that strength to take down CellMax if he went crazy, so no reason to think he couldnt make them exponentially stronger

Idk if this helps but in xenoverse 2 you can use the beast form yourself but you don’t need to be a saiyan so there’s a chance that it isn’t even a saiyan transformation it might be something that everyone could learn just very difficult kinda like kaiyoken

So, Beast is essentially the psychological terror that Gohan is able to instill in his opponent. This is symbolically represented in the anime by his power increasing exponentially. Of course, in real life, inspiring fear wouldn’t make you stronger, but since this is a cartoon, it works.

This concept parallels the way animals in real life try to win fights by appearing more frightening and beastly. Goku already knew this when he told Gohan, “Get angry! When you’re angry, no one can beat you.” Furthermore, when Gohan became Super Saiyan 2 against Cell, I think that moment was a foreshadowing of what Beast would later become. At that time, Gohan was a living nightmare for Cell, as he was enjoying making him suffer.

The name “Beast” fits perfectly—it represents being a terrifying, untamed creature. This new transformation truly embodies that concept.

Beast gohan is a mix of Demon ki (thanks to Piccolo and Guru) and God ki (thanks to Elder Kai) ontop of Gohan’s half Saiyan lineage.

Its just hair change and nothing different 🤷🏻‍♂️

This movie was cool but I didnt like Cell Max at all he just bigger & dumber Cell. Beast Gohan is cool too but he could use a hair cut. I liked the fact that Gohan didnt change his form every 5 mins.

Remember Trunks is also a half-Saiyan like Gohan which means he also possesses the same potential as Gohan does.

Even though no one knows entirely what this form is. I think its pretty obvious that he’s definitely utilizing his saiyan roots. You can tell by the red eyes and his personality being more stern.

I believe the hair being white could also simply be following the coloration pattern of the saiyan forms (Flames colors), yellow, red, blue and then white

What if beast form is a cross between ultra instinct and ultra ego

My theory is gohan beast is essentially a hybrid form and is specific to him and him only, the fact its not called super saiyan beast gphan shows that it's a unique form to only him.

I don't like how it doesn't show him working out to reach those levels. I don't like it because I see all of the other fighters training

That’s a very interesting point: up until Beast, Gohan never (or had the reason) to ascend to a new form. He just pushed his current form(s) to their limits. Which is truly astound how much potential he has. Because now that he has transformed, he’s able to keep up with MUI Goku. (Granted neither of them were truly going all out just testing each others and learning techniques). Just imagine if Gohan did have Goku and Vegeta’s fighting spirit. I’d say he would be the strongest out of the Z warriors
