April 8.25" - 32" long, 14" wb, 6.8" tail all mellow. That long mellow tail makes it SO easy to flip and pop. My other set up is a Real SE 8.25" but I'm not sure about the 14.25" WB. 5.6 Ti Ventures, 50mm Spitfire classics. Every time I pop and flick the April it's noticeably easier to flip. I'm 6' with size 12 shoes.
I also have FA/Hockey set up ranging from 8.18" to 8.5" and they are a fight. I think it's the 6.5" tail requires more effort than longer tails.
Hello Adriano 👋
Im waiting on this review, coz i saw you changing your deck from 8.25 to 8.3 before you tried transition with ben.
Now on 8.375, 14.5 wb. But I really like the 8.25,14.22 wb on jeremie knibbs santa cruz pro.
Nice video. Keep it up 👍🏼
Right now I am skating an 8.25 Baker O.G shape with Indy 149 forged hollows, 52mm f4 classics, and reds bearings. First baker I've skated and it's probably my favorite setup in a long time.
ОтветитьVisit skateboards..8",14wb 31.5 length. thunder 147 team hollows, bones 52mm slims stf 104a, bones swiss bearings. Other go to deck is baker og mold 8 or 8.125.
ОтветитьYou said it right about the fun factor of skating obstacles.
Your style is stoke quality.
Thanks
Knowing when to call has been something I’ve been practicing too recently. Too many times I’ve pushed it and ended up getting hurt. Been loving your videos dude!
Setup:
Welcome 8.8 x 31.75 14in WB
Ace classic 55
1/8in Risers
Spitfire 60mm 97a
Bronson raws
Pepper grip
I am skating a creature 8.25 with 149s indys, and spitfire wheels 54mm tablets. But i might go back to 8.5 or 8.38. I had a 8.38 real full se and i love the feeling i might grab another because i had fun with a short wheelbase btw i love your vids man 🤘🏼🙌🏼🤘🏼
Ответитьi am skating a chocolate 9.25 raven tershy board with 9 inch ace trucks, bones wheels, and andale bearings
ОтветитьHere is my set up, Baker 8.25 OG Shape with indy forged hollow 149, spitfire classics f4 101 53mm (best wheels), mob grip and bones super reds.
Greetings from Indonesia, found your channel about a month ago, always watching your vids ever since
why he skatin in the travis
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI’m on my 3rd 8.25 Full SE. Best deck I’ve skated.
ОтветитьThat full cab was valid
ОтветитьBoss
ОтветитьThey can't all be 10's... you gotta take the bad with the good. It's 106 degrees on a daily where I live, so no love on the skating right now... it's nice to watch someone else getting it though.

Ответить8.5 Board / 60MM Wheels / 8.75 Independent Trucks (Ace trucks bushings) / 1/8th Riser. Flip tricks are solid and with the wheels/trucks being so big its suuuuper stable
ОтветитьLove the setup vids. Surprised that 8.38 is a good width for you with 11 shoes. I'm 6'2" size 12 shoe but I'm riding 8.75"
Ответитьmy current setup has been a Deathwish Pedro Delfino 8.25" (kinda like a full SE) with 149 Indy Hollows , 53mm F4 OG classics, shiedless and dry reds - best setup in a long time. I'm 6' shoes US 9
ОтветитьI relate to this so heavily. I was on 8.25s for a long time and just recently stepped it up to 8.38 decks and 8.5 trucks. As long as the wheelbase stays between 14 and 14.25, then I'm happy. And same thing for me, it feels like home. I think this is my final form lmao
ОтветитьHey Adriano! Thank you so much for this video and for all your content, it's been great and very informative to watch your videos. I'm getting back into skateboarding after a 8 years hiatus, and I was thinking about getting this deck because I think the measurements are right for me, but I'm not completely sure about it because I was also checking the Anti-Hero 8.38 x 32.25 with a 14.5 wheelbase. I'm 33 y/o, 6'2, 196 pounds, 33 seam and 10.5 shoe size. I mostly like to skate street. U have any suggestions on wich board will suit me better? Thanks for your comments and sorry for the super long text!! Greetings from Barcelona.
ОтветитьSkating a Real Zion Intertwined 8.5” Full SE with ACE AF1 55’s (8.5” width as well, using their Hard Bushings which still have a great turn just a bit more stable) and Spitfire 53mm Classics. Great combo but might try the 8.38” Full SE with these trucks/wheels as well ☺️ Love the Deluxe boards.
ОтветитьMy favourite setup is a 8.06 Full SE on 147 thunders. I would skate it for ever but I can’t. It’s not always available for me. And the Problem ist to switch to a regular 8-8.125“ bbs deck after I skated Full SE. I need at least 2 proper skate sessions to fix my flick. 8.06 Full SE has a 14“ wheelbase so it’s noticeable shorter…
ОтветитьI feeled the same with the birdhouse deck i never ride any other brand.
My setup
Indy 144 standard somehow i like the heaviest truck just because the board feeling i tried the thunder light trucks and just was to light but thats just my opinion.
Birdhouse Jaws Deck 8.38 sometime 8.25 birdhouse depends which is( FoR Sale😀)
Venom bearings.
Oj Nomads 54mm 95a.
just got a full se 8.38 too and it feels comfortable.. nice and wide but not too wide. I jumped to that size from an 8.125 best choice I’ve done, imma need to try to get another full se 8.38 or try their normal 8.38 where they’re 32.25 with 14.5.. just picky on if it will feel larger
Ответитьif we just went to the metric system...
ОтветитьThat’s short I think primitive uses 14 and that’s regular to them
ОтветитьIsn’t that Ben degros park
ОтветитьI didn't know what the SE meant, but it makes sense, because REAL decks 8.25 have a 14.5 WB.
ОтветитьWhat is longer 8,38 or 8,375
ОтветитьThese are too short, og full shape was the best
Ответитьim a big dude aswell 6'2 size 12 foot and ride a 8.25. not having the most fun rn as im learning how to ollie but im getting a new deck (8.38) tomorrow so hopefully it helps
ОтветитьIs this better then ridin a 8.25 ?
ОтветитьI’m just not understanding why 8.38 are so popular. My shoe size is a U.S. mens 11 , so I prefer skated decks to be 8.5 or bigger.
Though I’m also a GenX so I grew up riding the OG Powell Peralta, Santa Cruz, Alva, Vision, & Skull Skates so skateboards we’re bigger then. After an unrelated knee surgeries. When I got back into skating a couple years later, all the brands had changed. Everything changed over to the popsicle sticks. Which to me looked like giant freestyle boards. I only skated for a couple more years & kind of just lost interest because of my knees mobility.
Now that I’m old, chunky, nostalgic I’ve been watching videos & everyone is into the 8.38 which is kinda foreign to me.
My current setup is a 8.5 Sci-Fi Fantasy deck, Indy 149s, spitfire f4 conical full 54mm, Bronson g3 bearings, and MOB grip
ОтветитьI love the full SE, hopefully they make this shape available forever ... love to pair it with indy mids
