That orange color ruins entire paint scheme. Why you do not have some additional weights in tool box. To make cg adjustments on fly. If plane is not set correctly your are having wrong opinion.
ОтветитьGreat job Brothers , Glad it went OK .
ОтветитьГуд бро! 👍👍👌
Ответить👍👏
Ответитьlooks like a draco
ОтветитьGood to watch the brothers from Southern California. Make ne want to fly more. Like the honest talk. Keep it up brothers. Good camera also
ОтветитьMaybe this plane is more designed for a nitro engine.
ОтветитьIs the prop out of balance a bit? It's got a bit of a buzz.
ОтветитьNice work getting it down. Definitely tail heavy, the tail shouldn't hang down like that when doing aileron turn, and when you used the rudder on the turns to lift the tail the tail whipped around. Add a 50-100g pilot maybe?
FYI, The real Dornier DO 27 was originally designed in Spain. Where the other Germans went.
Big Salute from Mid Mich! Great video as always. Keep them coming. (Nice hat! 🏴☠️)
ОтветитьWe have heat wave here in NY. Everyday it's ridiculously hot . My AC works great! Good flying in the am😊😊
Ответитьsounded like the prop was out of balance and it looked like it was tail heavy
ОтветитьIs there no dihedral on that wing?
ОтветитьGood job with a bad design. You are to be commended! Usually tail heavy planes only fly once. However, if you have the time and inclination to experiment, you can make this fly better. A little nose weight, some down elevator mixing with the flaps, turn off the motor brake, and create some aileron, rudder & elevator mixing for the turns, and you can have a plane that isn't a challenge to fly.
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck.
And again: Good job and keep the videos coming when you can.
Nice job to bring it down! Unfortunately i leave in Greece and we have maybe the hottest summer i remember! Almost a month at 40 degrees even 43 some days! So i have to fly more than a month and i see it to come not before September! So enjoying your flights!
ОтветитьIt’s almost as bad here in Southeastern Virginia. High is supposed to be around 37 degrees Celsius today. With the humidity thrown in it’s suffocating.
ОтветитьNOPE.!!
ОтветитьI had the same model, and had the same results on my maiden flight. Glad to see it wasn't just me. I really didn't like the way this model flew. I also thought the landing gear legs were a bit weak for a hard surface runway. I only put a few flights on it, and gave it to a fellow club member. Greeting from SoCal.
ОтветитьIt's a beautiful bird! Maybe she needs a littke more rudder in turns. And a littke more elevator comp for the flaps would help the slow flight. Ill sometimes set my Ail to Rudder mix on my flaps switch, to increase the rudder for each flap setting. 👍
ОтветитьHey guys, Bubba here.
I saw something silver fly by pretty fast at 7 minutes when you were videoing in the sky. It was very fast what ever it was. Y'all be careful out there.
Your pall BigBadBubbaBurns
Id love to see this one on floats. Bet theyd help with adding nose weight, if you shifted them forward a bit. It'd be a fun experiment 👍

ОтветитьCool, here in England we get 18C at best, enjoy your weather while you can.
ОтветитьHere in the UK it is like Autumn, cold /Rain and Wind , I would Like calm warm Day's, but it does not Happen, if we have one day Of the Sun the British complain time and time again , I love you Guys keep it going
ОтветитьBeautifull plane, i like the heat please send some, here is freezing south america Chile, big hugs
ОтветитьGreat maiden Robert. Blaz fun video. Jeff in LA USA
ОтветитьSame here....
102 degrees tdy in WestVirginia....Very hot.....
You guys drink alot of water....❤❤
A+ For the effort..
Salute!!🎉🎉
I have one of these planes sitting in my basement. I was never able to get it to fly properly. Very similar issues to what you guys had. Flew like it was tail heavy, hard to coordinate turns. I tried putting weight in nose and angling the motor for more right and down thrust. Nothing helped. The "quick release" clips on wings broke and are difficult to repair. I gave up on it after a bunch of attempted fixes and just decided it was not a very good model although it looks great. You guys got a lot further than I did so great job!
ОтветитьWell done to Pilot Robert for getting this Dornier down in one piece! It certainly looks sexi enough but it's got too many faults. The battery arrangement is a design flaw.
I'm glad you didn't crash this! Great flight, landing and filming. Big salute from London! 🌟👍
Keep up the enthusiasm, we all love it. I love it when he says don't start the camera in my mouth. Baaaah ha ha.
Ответитьwhere the pilot inside the plane?? eheh, put one with more 10grams and the CG is better ehhe, great work, and thanks for share 👌😉
ОтветитьThe bat is behind the CG. Try a smaller lipo.
ОтветитьThat was cool Robert & Blaz! Nothing better than a little adrenalin ealry morning :P
This plane is beautiful, it is really weird how it handled... but it has a the wooden prop, right? that gives it a better sound
The heat is the same here in Massachusetts USA , but i am almost twice your age.
ОтветитьI'm not going out there. Lol, God help you boys
ОтветитьGreat piloting Robert! Stay cool 🫡🫡
ОтветитьI had one of those back in 2015 it was a piece of crap. Maybe the new ones are better.xd
ОтветитьThat's so cool looking!! Yep hot here too. 49c here today. Climate change is here unfortunately. Storms are worse, heat is worse. Its crazy. Love the looks of this plane. Your method of gradually adding power on take off works great... Not really much of a floater like I thought it might be.
ОтветитьGreat to see another video from my favorite RC brother duo! I like this WWII era plane. I love the color scheme, especially the orange wing tips, nose cowl, and tail rudder. With that said, the plane flies weird for a high wing design. Not sure about this one.
ОтветитьI think it was little bit tail heavy... Nice video!!!
ОтветитьIt looks a lot better than flies.Great job getting it down n one piece. Thanks Robert and Blaz for another great video.
ОтветитьCongratulations 🎉. Thanks for entertaining us 😊
ОтветитьTail heavy !!
ОтветитьYou are fighting adverse yaw. To help tame this you need aileron differential.
ОтветитьRobert have you seen what eflight just announced a umx me162 that is next on the clicky finger lol big salute 🫡 Gary 🇬🇧
ОтветитьInteresting flight and plane mr Robert. 😊 have a nice day in the heat, here in the north it is rain , wind and cold😊
ОтветитьWhat battery did you use
ОтветитьSalutes to you both!
