doing PT 3 days after a fucking ACL is absolutely fukcing mental. I ruptured mine and was left with half of meniscus and was in a straight brace for 2 months. PT was rough and it took me 8 months just to get back on a board. man is a god damn beast

Loved watching this. Its ashamed he was made fun of for doing an mtv show. Im 40 now but when i was 19 i was on the path to a pro sponsorship and one trick ended my career and was told i would never skate again.

The reason people hated on sheckler was because of his reality show, which was pretty bad... lmao. He was a good skater, but that show was awful. I remember how bad his narrations were when he did any voice over. It wasnt a good show like viva la bam, it was terrible lol. But he could skate thats for sure.

One of my favorite memories: Getting a 411VM tape (something really special back in the days in Germany), watching it with the dudes and right after that going out 🛹. All these skaters had a big influence. ❤

This is me with mountain biking, I’ll enjoy riding the board but I’d rather hurt myself in mountain biking. Riding the board is just fun for me. 🎉

I haven’t skated in 15 years… Everything I see to this day I say to myself, sweet hand rail. Oh that ledge would be sick. My parents just bought house with an unground pool and all I can think when I see it is how fun it would be to skate. 15 years of it constantly. It’s crazy how it sticks in your mind.

Blessed to have lived the early 2000s when skatboarding was biggest thing on the planet ryan was a juggernaut

I have skated and bmx'd mostly in my youth.
Once a 7 year old girl screamed at me NO BIKES and called the police on me for riding my bike at the grand opening of the Grover Beach Skatepark. The cops stopped me on my bike half a block away to question me. I admitted it and made my point on the unfair rule. They kinda agreed, said not to ride it and let me go.
This was '97 '98

That intro man. I laughed out loud just watching Ryan stare at it. I skateboarded for 15 years at a mediocre level, and watching this LEGEND contemplate throwing his ass down that hubba just put me in absolute awe. I LAUGH at Ryan Sheckler becuase he has alwasy been a fking menace. Growing up skateboararding in the 2000's, I was taught to hate Sheckler by the rest of the "Community"; as grown ass 30 year old, I cannot respect Ryan enough. I apologize for my nievete, letting others influence my decisions, and not giving you the respect you always deserved. I am going to buy a new setup and start skating again, by the end of the month. I miss this.

I’m 33 now but I still remember when I was 11 my 1st set up was a complete pink bam heartagram. Bam keep your head up fuck the negative keep being positive!!
