Ipsy Glam Bag X VS Ipsy Plus | Sister VS Sister | February 2023

You're making me love my February Glam Bag Plus more.

Both boxes were nice I think I liked Rachel's box a little bit better but I'm a lotion n body butter whore n I am going to be ordering that Glow recipe lotion for sure!!!

Golden Faden I tried once as a sample & hated it. The Rescue Mask from First Aid Beauty sounds amazing for winter! I think it won an Allure Beauty Award 🤔 I thought both of ur boxes were awesome in terms of the variety of products u received. So u can buy both of these boxes without subscribing to them for a full year? Love the Anastasia gloss! What was the name of the shade? Love the Laura Mercier setting powder. Once I received a full size one by accident from an online purchase from Sephora & it was in my shade. I think the best shade for u would be 'Translucent' since u are fair & German like me😉 what was the name of the Pat McGarth lip stick shade? Received Pillow Talk in an Advent calendar & I wasn't impressed. It has no staying power. I use a dot of hair oil on my ends only. They get so dry in the winter. Any excess on my hands I rub into my cuticles. Glow Recipe smells soo good. Never been a fan of the Bum Bum cream from Sol de Janiero but Glow Recipe I just want to drink it. Whenever I get perfume samples I always spray on a clean kleenex last thing I want is a perfume on my skin that I hate. That way if I don't like it I just throw the tissue away & don't have to take a shower 😆

My Glam Bag Plus came completely destroyed and idk what to do

There are rumors swirling that Ipsy and Boxy are fully merging into one box. If they do, hopefully they keep the good things about each subscription. An app, more choices, a card with product info, etc.

I’m not sure why that powder is labeled translucent if it has a shade. Having a shade means it’s NOT translucent.

I use lots of FAB products. Oily and sensitive and luv! The Wild Oat toner is so calming and amazing. The mask is really nice ❌️⭕️

Really good Ipsys for you both. I like the products I got in my X, but I felt like the X was a bit of a let down. I got 4 skincare items all chosen by Ipsy. Bailey has said on her channel that she doesn't use a lot of skin care and goes really simple per her dermatologist so I guess I had higher expectations. I got the:
Drunk Elephant Protini. I like this, got a sample at Sephora awhile ago, but I wouldn't pay full price to buy it.
Georgette Kilinger Toner- happy interested as I like toners.
This Works face mask- I agree with Katrina, the brand is just ho hum. I wouldn't have probably purchased this.
Grown Alchemist nightcream- I already have this and haven't tried it so now I have 2. If I like it great, otherwise....
Too faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara- Not happy, I have a ton of mascara and I dont like the regular Better than Sex, it looks nice when I put it on in the morning, but at the end of the day I have raccon eyes from the mascara.
Choice items:
Ather- new palette....so good I guess
Natasha Denonna- lip product, like that's its ND, but not crazy about the color.
Catch Feelings perfume- I don't remember being happy with the items in this category and I'm sensitive to perfumes scents so I choose this with alot of apprehension and fingers crossed and I'm pleasantly surprised to be thrilled with the scent! Its so good.
Overall I'm happy with the box and felt like I got good products at a great value, but I expected alot more Makeup in this X.

Rachael’s face and that squeal when you guys opened the gloss 😊😊😊😊😊 what an amazing plus bag, X wasn’t bad either! I got a Pat McGrath love and lust gloss duo in mine, they were both little hearts also retailed for $29. I’m glad that there are more affordable options of the brand!!

I use the Grown Alchemist night cream, have oily skin and I'm fine with it.

I really like the plus better I do not think the X was worth the money especially there are some things you can't even use cause too dark etc......

Rachael got some real gems in her box. I wish I received the perfume in my box. I guess I was too late picking my stuff in my box, because that was not an option in my box. I would have loved it and that blush palette too. Always love watching both of you. Personally I feel that the Ipsy glam bag plus was a better bag for the value. Great products and cost less However, both subscriptions we're great this month. I got the Glam bag X myself.
