If I may give a suggestion for a fantastic game you should check out: Little Goody Two Shoes. Probably the best game I’ve experienced this year and shouldn’t be missed.

You should include prices next time, please. It would be super helpful to see the price of each game you're listing so I don't have to pause the video every time I see a game I like and look it up on the eshop. Great video otherwise! ❤

I wouldn’t say any of these are “essential.” It’s a solid list of good games, though.

My essential game is Nier Automata. I will tell every human being that owns a switch or some way to play it to get it. It’s so good and so damn fun

Also the MvC Fighting Collection is also essential. I don’t make the rules.

That is one of the best collection containing some of the most incredible fighting games ever made. And given these games haven’t been officially available in so damn long it’s worth owning even just to collect and preserve 🫡

Nice video Alex! I think I can chip in with Dave the Diver; Phoenotopia: Awakening; Slay the Spire, and Darkest Dungeon (the first one honestly) to name a few that in my opinion are essential for the switch. I would love to see a top 3 for each category video Alex!

Some great picks on here, and a lot I've not got but don't really fall into my style. But the premise for Littlewood amuses me. "This person has amnesia, which is likely a sign of some sort of brain damage or mental trauma. What job should we give them? Rebuild after a cataclysmic event, that sounds appropriate." 😂

Great list my man. Spirit Farer, Unmetal and are great. I honestly am surprised monster hunter isnt on this list....it is such an amazing bang for buck and beautiful game.

Alex, you set yourself a difficult target, with such abundance and diverse offering of games on the switch, as well as your diverse audience, hitting 20 ‘essential’ is near on impossible. I don’t think these are ‘essential’ games, more a lot of these games are trying something different from the mainstream and are very good. One day I’ll play disco elesyum

Recently played Huntdown. Really enjoyed it.

Honestly Skyrim deserves to be on the list just because they managed to make one of their open world games portable and it plays well. As for hidden gems, love love school days is one of the best if not the best horror games on the switch.

13 Sentinels is the best game on this list and one of the best games ever. If you have not tried it, you NEED to. Probably in my top10 of my 48yr life.
