Janis's voice is so beautiful; this song is in the Hall of Fame and she won a grammy for it - rightfully so. Celine Dion's cover is also amazing. Two remarkable voices. If the youngsters would listen to more music like this, the world would be such a better place.

When I was younger I heard this song, didnt give it much thought...as an older man I hear it and I would only add you could switch in boy and it would be just as honest and true. Beautifully sad. See yourself as you dream yourself to be and you'll be free. Then you can work on the rest of it.

I grew up and felt like this when I grew up . Hard to be not wanted on teams or bullied growing up . Hated School for that reason. Janis has a beautiful voice.

Doubtless this song contributed to my rhinoplasty - at seventeen. Changed my life .. except at 58 i still feel the hurt & confusion & ANGER from my youth. omG ppl PLEASE be good to each other. The pain you cause a kid lasts FOREVER. 😢☠️
