This is exactly why I adore my 5 ply maple/birch Rogers 9/72 Power Tone. Dated anywhere between 1971-1973, made in Fullerton, CA. Rogers was the cadillac of drums! This is a VERY NICE Holiday model kit. I hope you guys do a video of it. Your channel is incredibly popular, it would open up the ears and eyes to a younger generation, just how good classic, USA made, vintage drums really are.
ОтветитьAhhh...If only it was a Premier. I might think about defecting. What a find!!!Those reinforcement rings are uber maximum.
ОтветитьWhat would that wrap finish be called ?
ОтветитьThat's like finding a 63 split window vette in a barn. Rogers drums were the absolute best drums made until 1983. These are from the golden era of Rogers. Hope you get top dollar for this kit!
ОтветитьStill have that new drum smell when you took the head off? Ummmmmmmmmmm
ОтветитьDamn - wish I had the time to scour the land for both records, books, and musical instruments. Of course knowing my luck the only thing I'll find in an old barn is hay and horse turds! I always loved the red onyx finish. The blue onyx is real cool too. Wish somebody would bring Rogers back from the dead!
ОтветитьIt always seems to be an 'Old Barn'. I haven't come across an old barn in years. Old barn...
ОтветитьLooks like ?
Ответитьthose are pristine!!! would love to stumble onto that find:)
Ответитьseeing these drums makes me feel sick to my stomach, I wish I could afford this kit or find some in a barn :-)
ОтветитьWell Golly! Those are showroom quality ready. No pitting or rust on the chrome. Must have been one dry barn. I loved those Rogers pedals with the leather strap and swivel docking station. Drummer porn
ОтветитьWhy does this never happen to me?
ОтветитьSomeone stole my Rogers Kit I’m still looking for them !!!! 🤨
ОтветитьAaaawwh come on man ! That kit looks like it literally came out of a time capsule. Look at that pedal ! Chrome is still shining !
ОтветитьI would do dirty, immoral, unthinkable things for this kit.
ОтветитьOkay now what?
ОтветитьI have a set like this I purchased in 1968 the only difference is my set has double mounted toms and two bass drums and has a powertone snare, all have original heads, cases are the same except black in color. The drums are black strata in color with all hardware and zildjian cymbals. I plan on keeping them.
ОтветитьLooks kinda like the one we had at the local CC, when I was just starting to play drums. Took lessons on a red strata 20" bass drum and a chrome metal 14x5 Dyna-Sonic.
ОтветитьIt’s like brand new
ОтветитьAmazing find this guy needs to buy a lottery ticket. It looks like it is in pristine condition, especially the Very rare snare.
ОтветитьIn the 60's Rogers were the Superior Drums.
ОтветитьTo die for.
