The floors look much nicer with the bigger size tiles which I prefer as I hate to see all those grout lines with smaller ones. Same with backsplash, I like bigger tiles so when I had my kitchen designed I asked the company to cut the size to fit around my range so it's one piece and I've no regrets doing it that way, looks amazing and easy to clean. BTW, glad Robbie is feeling better and can get the reno complete.

My brother’s house in Cebu suffered the same fate as your tiles - the workers were welding inside the house, nobody thought of laying some protective sheets on the tiles. The results were just like your old tiles - damaged!
