Thank you for making this video ladies 😊I’ve always wanted to live in France... that's until I visited Switzerland. There's something that feels so right to me in Geneva. Maybe it's the swans? Lol. It’s definitely expensive (I live in L.A which is expensive city for US standards) but my ❤️ wants what it wants😍.
Ответить24, wow I’m old asf
ОтветитьHi Nana!
Thank you for the delightful upload - it was wonderful listening to your experiences in Geneva. I plan on working with an international school in Switzerland in coming up with effective ways of tackling racism (including prevention at primary sch level) in school. Since your experience at CDL was a positive one, I was wondering if you could share with me what you think CDL or ECOLINT did correctly in ensuring that you never felt marginalized? We will of course reach out to CDL and other schools directly but I feel it would be more beneficial to hear from someone like you. Hope this is not too much trouble. Stay blessed!:-)
Any advice for an American trying to relocate to Geneva in regard to finding a job?

Any where you go in the world , talented very articulate in the representation of oneself this set the tone of a environment. Switzerland, I coming!
ОтветитьGeneva is definitely completely different to the rest of the country. I am positive someone in Basel or Zurich or Lugano would have a completely different (and probably far worse if I'm being honest) experience. It's nice to know Geneva exists as an exception!
ОтветитьBeautiful people...
ОтветитьThe Swiss love chocolate! LMAO
ОтветитьOMG not the edm music lmao
Ответитьwhat's their IG?
ОтветитьBeing black is not the same as being an Arab in Geneva

ОтветитьHello ladies thanks for your friendly video....I went to the International School in Geneva and am originally from New York...I have lived here for many years and although I am missing something (being white) it seems to me that Switzerland is one of the least racist countries on the European continent..one sees inter racial couple all over the place....I think that money is more of a criteria on which one can be judged...have you noticed that around Balexert and Avanchet seems to have a high proportion of black people and I wonder why....any ideas? I have also noticed that demographics of Geneva have changed a lot in recent years and one sees more black people from modest backgrounds...I suppose from north Africa but I am not sure.
ОтветитьI'm headed to Geneva on a work trip the week of Sept 13th. Any advice on night life or cool places to check out?
ОтветитьThis was interesting. I'm from The Bronx but I went to Ecolint! Dont ask! Lol
ОтветитьMaybe you should distinguish between ur experience and the one of lower class black people in Geneva or Switzerland...and there are obviously differences within the different areas...
ОтветитьHay que Linda. My favorite is the Lady on the right. Cutie...
ОтветитьNO, switzerland is said to have a high rate of racism, worse,
without constitutional rights as Americans. Switzerland just voted overwhelmingly to endorse same sex marriage. I'm still researching. Can't wait to see what switzerland think about abortion. 82% white. My brown skin would be overwhelmed with the hatred. These 2 women. Wow! Not interested in seeing the civil rights move backwards. This country is not attractive to say the least.
Im a white guy. Dont let the world be the judge of your value or beauty. Both of you are shining light on the world. God got you
ОтветитьI am a 30 year old white Australian man, why am I watching this? haha. You guys are fun to watch.
ОтветитьGonna be hard not to fall in love with Geneva with the so much love you beautiful ladies described it. I'm sure will be visiting from LA soon
ОтветитьI am Swiss, speaking Swiss German, “High German” French, english and some Italian. I lived in Geneva for a while and loved it. But it seems, that, when ever I listen to people on the Internet talking about Switzerland, there is soooo much “different” about my country and sooo many things, that “should be different”, that I am asking myself, why are all these people coming and living in Switzerland????? WE are happy the way we live. The more I read about my country, the more I find, that mostly Americans seem the need to change Switzerland.
ОтветитьIt is easier for u to get a good job because u grew up there Switzerland is home for u ,that was why u used ur network and got a job but for African immigrants is all sad stories, heard professionals doing cleaning jobs, there is a lot of racism in that country I'm surprised this ladies never mentioned it...........forget about the beautiful country, the high paying jobs, ur mental health matters ,if u are a black immigrant I do not think Switzerland is a sweet spot for u .Look elsewhere
ОтветитьI’m reading this in 2024. Interesting.
ОтветитьI’m from Ethiopia,I was studying and work in Geneva before corona and I finished my study and now move to Canada as a skilled immigrant….
ОтветитьDo people generally get married at younger ages like in their 20s? Here, in NYC, people get married older, like up to their 30s and 40s.
ОтветитьWhat about religion? Are there more Christians or catholics?
