i don't know much about mics but the new one seemed too sensitive for your whispering the other sounds all were very "crisp" i think if you can get rid of the hiss static noise it would be a very good mic. Can I make a request for a thumping sound test on the mic cover?

Welcome back Donna! I think you would be able to use a program like virtual audio cable or VoiceMeeter Banana to set it up so you could preview through headphones connected to the pc/laptop

Tho it is not a 3D mic but if you are using headphones you can still hear that the sound source is moving.

I remember stumbling across your video of you playing Zelda on the 3DS a few years ago, and I wondered why you were whispering, but I enjoyed it so I started watching more of your videos thinking you were the only one who made whispering videos and then I soon realised that asmr was an actual thing and that's the story of how I discovered asmr!
