Yep! Hyperhydrosis here. I've currently started taking a medication to help with it and it's working pretty well! It doesn't get rid of it completely but as long as I stay on top of taking the medication on time everyday, it does work. Thank you so much for your videos Dr. Drayton! A lot of natural deodorants also contain baking soda which can be irritating depending on the amount/concentration. If you can tolerate baking soda, then it is a great deodorant, maybe necessitating reapplication after 4 hours which works well if you have an 8-hour workday.

Can you actually list the steps in what to do here? Ive heard you say to put the antiperspirant on at night. Got it. Do you wash with PanOxyl first then deodorant? Wake up in the morning, shower and......put more antiperspirant on? With a little moisturizer because the PanOxyl is drying? I generally shower in the morning and understand the mechanism of why you want the antiperspirant on at night. Can you clarify the order in which to do these things?

Found this and used the first aide antiseptic since I had it on hand and it works!!!!! I have dry skin but during the summer BO is real and this did not dry my skin or irritate me. I am in the south and it is getting to warm to be struggling with BO. Definitely feel more comfortable and feel my antiperspirant is working better!❤

Native do NOT work for me :/ I didn’t get irritation but after an hour or 2 I could smell the sweat coming through the product😭 I smelled like sweaty eucalyptus mint 🥲

Can a glycolic acid wash be used to the same effect as the benzoyl peroxide wash?

I finally got the 10% benzoyl peroxide from Walgreens and works great; however, my armpits got a rash from it 😞

Certain dry worked great until it became summer and it made my armpits so sensitive to the skin that 10 minutes of sun exposure made my skin start peeling off it was gruesome.

First start with a good shower, scrub under your armpits, esp. between the folds of the armpit. Dry thoroughly before adding antiperspirant.

As my grandparents used to say, euphemistically, wash the "dark places".

Do not use hibiscus on your face and your genital. Avoid hibiscus contact with your ear and eyes!
