I suppose anything is better than nothing but when Swarzenegger's net worth is estimated at $450 million these 25 very tiny homes (or sheds as most people would call them) do not really impress. Even with interest rates at 1% he will be receiving $4.5 million per year to add to his wealth every year.

this is great but i still feel like that size is too small.... i live in South Africa and i built a shack at the back of the house for privacy. My small and cheap shack is waaayyy bigger than that.

So many progressives (to include Schwarzenegger who is a RINO…not a real Republican) think giving homes to the homeless in a solution to homelessness. It’s not! It’s a typical leftist “feel-good” or self-adulation act that always have unintended consequences and never focuses on resolving the real issues of why an individual is homeless in the first place. Follow up in 10+ years, that area will be another dirty crime ridden area with the tiny houses becoming dilapidated. As always, progressives will throw money at the homeless issue again. Doing the same thing and with the same results. They need treatment for their drug addiction and mental illness. A new home is nice after recovery, and it shouldn’t be paid for by the taxpayer. Donations are fine though. Want to help the veteran’s? Find out why they are homeless and address that issue; don’t just hand them a tiny house. Even in Hawaii, they discovered some vets were homeless because they were insistent on living in state they could not afford; and they had no drug problem or mental illness…just bad decision making. The solution…send them to their state of origin with family or a state with a lower cost of living.

Why isn’t our government doing this? If a loathsome individual like Arnold can do this then our government can do more! Good for Newsom and Arnold. Also, this should be open to all homeless, not just veterans.

I now live in a tiny home, since last June of last year. I am grateful. The homeless situation must be dealt with. It is unhuman to leave people on the street with no hope, and their they face by discouragement. Even more the veterans themselves gave their lives in serving the United States of America. They deserve more. Many of those veterans had put there lives on the line. And in grief they need help, and medical attention, and shelter. Thank God, there some people who have a "heart to transform, and revive many out of homelessness by volunteering and giving back the true love that will change our communities, and cities even our nation, the United States of America. Thank the Lord, there is a will and a way, to bring renewal so many who are discouraged, even our veterans."" We need revival in our nation to defeat homelessness and create more tiny homes, and low-income housing. " 😊
