My SIM World will never be the same with the Qubic System QS-210 motion platform!

Hi. Do you feel wheel slip effect in all sims equally?

Can you show or explain how your fan setup is controlled? I’m trying to figure out a way to have my stream deck control a fan or two

Please, test it with rally sims and tell us if the system is up to par with what you feel on circuit. As owner of a seat mover (next level v3) and buttkicker pro/plus I will like to know it the QS-210 worth the upgrade!! Thanks in advance.

If the wheel is attached to the rig, would the screenway software not compensate for the movement of the wheel and make it in sync with the (static) monitor?

I think this combined with a fast seat mover doing quick short movements for the roll motion instead of qubics would be amazing. I saw this because of your wrists bend a little during turns it transmits G force to your brain.

Given that most people turn these systems down substantially, is there not a market for a less extreme version at a reduced costs?

You said below that you are trying to finish video with full attached gear to platform. What the results? My plan is to replace the rig with one where the monitors are attached to the main frame, but I'm not sure if that will work. For example track racer. What do you think?

Could you compare this QS with eRacing lab? Would you go for eRacing lab for half money of QS or save for one/two years more for QS? 😂

Glad to see someone else with similar engineering design thoughts. We designed a system just like this a year ago using traditional 3dof moving just seat/pedals independently of wheel. In some cases better than seat mover especially heave and you can lower settings vs whole cockpit since driver is being tensed in other cases seat mover better because your upper body compresses independently of lower. Our design had single a lower platform that the moving chassis sits on top so the cockpit and driver have enough weight to keep steering/ screens secure and that bottom platform holds steering wheel and screens. If you ever were to add traction loss this design allows you to rotate screens along with the “driver tensing cockpit” to keep your screens in sync like you wish to accomplish. Cool to see you try something outside the box.

Several people already had to turn off their new D-box after a few minutes because of complaints and this system is even more performing. How did you isolate the rig?

I am usually not the guy that comments on a lot of YT Videos, but this one definitely deserves a comment. I am thinking of getting a platform motion system for the past 3-4y (owner of a 2dof seat mover right now) and this system and your concept sounds so interessting. You are actually the first guy I am hearing to say that even though your body is fixed with the seatbelts in a real car, that there is still movement going on, what makes a complete stable system also not 100% accurate and this is also why I kind of like my seat mover system. I am really excited for your build videos and your DIY ideas. Brilliant content as always. Keep up the great work and I really hope to meet you one day on the simexpo, but I couldn't make it this year unfortunately :(

Nice review! You mentioned that you are on second floor in the video, giving the motion system gonna do all sorts of vibrations and movements, how do you prevent all these from transferring to the floor below? As I am living in an apartment, my main concern is complaints from my neighbours below with all these vibrations. It will be nice if you can share more information about that.

I ingnore all of these fantasy 30k Sim-Racing Hardware channels.
No normal person who has a family and sim-races can even consider spending 2k for a pedal, 3k for a steering wheel, 10k for motion sim parts and all the monitor amd PC up grades to make it all work.

Welcome to the wonderful world of motion. I have mine for almost a year now and can't go back. It's good to see that these things are getting more affordable for everyone. I got the e-racing lab rs mega+. It's absolutely mind blowing what it can do for the price. ACC telemetry is not that good. Car feels like a boat. Ams2 has the best I have felt so far.

Chassis mover with static steeringwheel sounds pretty wild.. had that idea in my head too haha. It should combine the benefits of a chassis mover and a seatmover 🔥

Your brain can totally perceive faster than 60fps. All competitive fps is played at 240fps or greater. If you played at 60fps would be totally uncompetitive.

the humain brain can absolutely not perceive just a maximum of 60 frames per second, what? we dont see in frames per second and you can absolutely tell the difference between higher framerate monitors very easily

So you finally running a motion sim?!? About time buddy! Nice. 3+ years here with mine and I could never imagine taking without it. Total immersion!

Wow what an aboslute dream! I find it very interesting that you separated your wheelbase from your motionrig. I can really imagine that this gives you an even more immersive feeling, havent seen this approach before.

I have a question: does the whole motion setup really only provide a max load of 200kg? So it wouldnt be possible to mount everything (including the Monitors) right? I mean i alone weigh around 90kg....

Brother ..im rn choosing between qubic or dbox gen 5 ..in terms of reaction speeds and also haptics feedback like concrete to asphalt or grass ..shifts ..braking with ubdersteer or oversteer ..pitch heave ..would you recommend this over dbox ? Can you please tell me your honest opinion if money are not limited…pricetag for q220 is similar to dbox ..

2 weeks has passed and I'm still trying to figure out how did you manage that keep wheel deck, with monitors isolated from the rest of the rig, totally rigid and with zero flex 😅... Pretty sure you will show us sooner than later... I'm looking forward to it 😊

a dedicated seat mover would be good from this company, i always felt that just a seat mover would give best impression of g forces, like you have it just working on your seat and not the wheel or screen

Can you make a test with VR? Especially abouy their vr compensation and how the real "violent" movement can effect the headsets panels postion compared to your head. My varjo aero weights less than 500g but if i move in my seat up and down rather fast like in your setup, it moves about which breaks immersion.

I still can't believe motion platform with detached monitors - can make it more immersive. For me it can only distract and 'steal' feeling from FFB.
