The real filming came to terms with the real film. Sahadowed, awkward, askew, you name it. The movie for me was a tremendous piece of art.
ОтветитьEven that shithole diner was turned into something special by Lynch.
ОтветитьRIP David Lynch and thank you for giving us art that will last forever! 🙏🏼❤️📽️🎬
ОтветитьIt feels like I'm not supposed to see this.
ОтветитьThat scene was not great
ОтветитьBack when films are filmed and not just made using a green screen and a computer.
ОтветитьFascinating ...
ОтветитьLegend. RIP 😢
ОтветитьI remember watching this movie for the first time and seeing the cowboy for the second time and getting that sinking feeling in my stomach
ОтветитьA big thing younger people won't understand is why this is so brightly lit - digital, now, doesn't need that (as much). But for film recording, it had to be bright, to even look dim on the recording.
ОтветитьIt would have been cool if it was just a choice for the player if they wanted to wear sleeves or no sleeves, like in soccer, there are players on the field wearing short and long sleeves.
With the amount of guys who wear t-shirts under their jerseys now, probably would be a better aesthetic if it was a sleeved jersey. Instead of the sleeve jersey being something you wear instead of the tank top.
I need to rewatch this movie. Everyone who go to work with him is so lucky!!
ОтветитьDavid seemed like he was a really comfortable dude to work with. He’s talking super casually with all the actors here…like they were college buddies or something along those lines.
Ответитьugh that smoking did him in
Ответитьsuch a great team and talents
Ответитьnice, diner scene was filmed on my 15th birthday.
ОтветитьFind someone who looks at you the way Naomi is looking at David in the thumbnail
ОтветитьI was, so very fortunate, to see this at the Cinema, in the UK during its original theatrical release in 2001. I would never have known about its existence without my college buddy randomly inviting me along. What a ride.
ОтветитьBrilliant acting everywhere
ОтветитьThat's massive!
ОтветитьNaomi Watts in this movie is the best performance by an actress I've ever seen.
ОтветитьWatching David Lynch working with Naomi Watts is truly a thing of beauty.
Ответить"I like that, uh, almost better than ice cream" 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьMaking movies looks to be a real pain in the ass.
ОтветитьThis REALLY makes the crew visible, and every job has to go basically exactly right. Being in lighting or sound etc. on any film much less David Lynch.. I'd be running on adrenaline even if I was the guy holding the light diffuser? panel..
ОтветитьNaomi's acting in that last scene is overwhelming. The intensity of pain, anguish, despair...it's actually hard to watch. She should have won every award in existence.
ОтветитьIt is incredible how he manages to create this atmosphere so characteristic of his works and that the actors manage to convey so well the feelings he wants to capture. When I saw this movie for the first time, I was stunned, I knew I had seen a unique movie, but I still couldn't understand; The performances were sublime, I was captured by many feelings when watching it, but I needed more information and to understand the symbolism. Fly high David.
ОтветитьI watched the diner scene endless times because I made an analysis video of it. So strange seeing Winkie's here. Love it ❤
ОтветитьRIP a mad man beautiful
ОтветитьRIP, buddy! you were the best and always will be!
ОтветитьDavid Lynch’s lungs must be like tiny raisins - get hip cuz - “up wif hope - down wif smoke”.
ОтветитьIncreíble que no hayan tomado en cuenta a Naomi para el Oscar.
Ответитьgreat film
ОтветитьThis movie convinced be that David Lynch is insane. I finally understood why none of his movies made any sense. I mean, to be more precise, his movies are like Alice in Wonderland, but if it was written by a dyslexic, demented schizophrenic.
ОтветитьSooo many people for not much action 😮. Hurry up and wait😅😅😅
ОтветитьThank you so much. All work behind is not always understood. There are even some people running behind camera takes to preserve a technical quality of scenes.
ОтветитьI was hoping to see the cowboy.
Ответитьthis should give people an idea who are critical of films in an over simplistic way an idea of how many things that have to go right just for one scene to work. weather elements random events that happen onset you get to see just how many things are out of their control. Having been in the entertainment industry i have an appreciation for the amount of work. its the same way for photo shoots and video game shoots.
ОтветитьPatrick Fischler stands at the entrance to the cafe. No one wrote that they recognized him. Why don't I see a blue dumpster on the street? Where did the purple billboard go on the street? Why is there a guy in a blue shirt standing behind the glass of a cafe in the movie? He wears white trousers in the film, and dark trousers at the rehearsal. Did he accidentally get into the frame?
Ответитьcould somebody tell me what does david said towards the end when naomi and laura are hugging?
ОтветитьAmazing movie
Ответитьloviu for ever David...
ОтветитьThanks a lot, Mr. Lynch, for your films. They have become part of me.
