The last great McCartney song...
Bravo
It's exquisite. There is NO end to his creativity.
Paul proofing being paul
12/5/21 SO MY LOVE FOR THIS SONG BROUGHT ME HERE TODAY!!!
A sense of harmony to which I fear we can only aspire.
Ответитьmy dad's favourite paul solo song. he put it in the car for me when i was a kid.
now relistening to it makes me cry
What a gift to the world....
Had this been a Beatles track in an alternative universe, it would be considered a classic.
This is far from one one of his best songs...hence not that many views.
Just Wondering…. Jenny Wren = John Winston?
Is he playing on a right handed guitar? The pickguard is on the other side.
Ответитьhermosa ...sublime muy nostálgica...Jenny hermosa
I love the mistake he makes at the start of the second time round. He just plays it off beautifully and cracks on. Proves he's human like the rest of us.
Many a time I'd drop a drum stick or break a skin at a gig and would just have to wing it whilst I recover.
Awesome moment!
In the original recording Paul used an Armenian Duduk for the 'duu duu' part, and it sends goosebumps down my body. What a master of sounds.
Masterpiece. Thank you for your talent Sir Paul
Jenny wren
Genius.
Goosebumps instantly even after months of knowing the song.
Just love it...makes me cry every time. PAUL a true poet and musician of my time
Like so many Beatles, Paulie boy can sing.
A canção Jenny Wren é inspirada nessa Bourrée?
Love that it's also a Dickens story
Like so many girls, Jenny Wren could sing
But a broken heart took her soul away
Like the other girls, Jenny Wren took wing
She could see the world and its foolish ways How we spend our days casting love aside
Losing sight of life day by day
She saw poverty breaking up her home
Wounded warriors took her song away But the day will come, Jenny Wren will sing
When this broken world mends its foolish ways Then we'll spend our days catching up on life
All because of you, Jenny Wren
You saw who we are, Jenny Wren
Love Paul so much. His music has enriched my life so much. Thank you Paul ❤
Like so many girls, Jenny Wren could sing
But a broken heart, took her song away
Like the other girls, Jenny Wren took wing
She could see the world, and its foolish ways
How, we, spend our days, casting, love aside
Losing, sight of life, day, by, day
She saw poverty, breaking up her home
Wounded warriors, took her song away
But the day will come, Jenny Wren will sing
When this broken world, mends its foolish ways
Then we, spend our days, catching up on life
All be-cause of you, Jenny Wren
Jenny Wren
You saw who we are, Jenny Wren
Jenny Wren
How lucky are those spectators to be able to sit, watch, and enjoy an intimate performance by Paul McCartney - just the man with his acoustic guitar? It doesn’t get any better than this, in my opinion.
Wow, how lucky are they!
He was raised in Liverpool. I was raised in Livermore. He learned a Bach song. So did I he became famous. I didn’t.

People will play this tune a hundred years from now and wonder why it wasn't popular in 20's century.
Isn't anyone going to talk about him being dressed like Han Solo?
A lovely genius... ❤
Am I seriously the only one who notices the Detroit Red Wings sticker on his guitar?!
Paul's nickname for Jane Asher was "Jenny".
Blackbird Part Two🌹
Really great song, his effortless switching between major and minor - great melody, I love it!
Ever notice how young Paul's hands look for his age?
