ОтветитьHi
ОтветитьI love the red I want figures for transformers prime
ОтветитьThe chest comes of for the ab crunch
ОтветитьSome people complained about the plastic on RED figures, what are your thoughts based on this one?
ОтветитьI like the RED line for what it's trying to do. From a quality standpoint the plastic choices for the limbs/joints seems soft. They don't feel as solid as Legends or Classified, but still I think they've had more hits than misses with RED. This guy included.
ОтветитьI also like what Hasbro is doing, for me personally for 9bucks more I went with WFC versions but it took a while to make that choice. An alternate head would have sold me.
ОтветитьThe thing about this line that turns me off is all characters being the same size so optimus prime and bumblebee would be the same size which is odd. On their own the figures aren't inherently terrible for the price point but for a display it doesn't really work.
Ответитьwhy do I feel like those tiny guns on his forearms can be pushed out?
ОтветитьIf they make an OPTIMAL Optimus in this line I'm all over it.
Ответить"He likes it! He really likes it!"
Wow, i did not see that coming. Out of all the figures youve recently looked at from the major toy brands I did not think this one would be the one youd like the most.
While Transformers toys that don't transform kind of go against the whole concept of the brand, as someone who doesn't really transform my figures and never really displays them in their alt modes I can see why this line is attractive to some people.
ОтветитьIm surprised this line has lasted several waves.
ОтветитьI think all of the box art was created specifically for this line. I wish the artist would post it all online, because I love the style.
ОтветитьI really liked the idea of this line and got most of the first bunch they did but the WC and materials they’re using is terrible and the sculpts for the non-Beast Wars figures is pretty soft.
If they tried harder and put more quality into this line I think it would have done a lot better.
I think the RED line is really cool
ОтветитьI legit had no idea he had blasters in his forarm. Lol
ОтветитьThe RED line is decent. The Soundwave and Megatron from wave 1 were good but the Arcee from wave 2 sucked. I’m waiting for Thundercracker and Cliffjumper since they’re my favorite Transformers. If they suck then I’m done. If they’re good then I’ll keep up with the line.
ОтветитьWell….. that’s just prime
ОтветитьI want them to do more of this line like this.. By that I mean good. I agree with your point, you know how I never pose my Transformers? Never in Beast mode, that's for sure. I do have Kingdom Primal so maybe I'd turn him into his Chunky Monkey mode and have this guy be his bot mode? I'd also love if they made this line to scale. Like... You give me a BW Megatron that's a bit taller than Primal? Sold. You give me a Rattrap who's small? Double sold. Scale this line and you'll have my money more often than just Primal lol.
ОтветитьI spent the $10 more and got the actual transformer. These figures look like fake knock offs. The quality isn't there. Like you said, you had to go through many to find one with decent paint.
ОтветитьI don't understand people who complain that a Transformers figure doesn't Transforrm. There are plenty that do so why complain about one that they won't buy anyway lol
ОтветитьI recall you not being impressed with the first wave of RED figures when you were on a stream with ShartimusPrime. If RED has now managed to make a figure good enough for your approval, then I'm starting to get a lot more interested in where they go. I prefer non-tranforming Transformers for the aesthetics, so I'd love to see them make major improvements to their G1 Optimus sometime in the future.
The size of their Bumblebee is just dumb though.
I honestly think if people want well sculpted and articulated robot figures they need to move onto Gunpla, sure you gotta put some work into it but you don’t have to worry about Hasbro cheap hollow gappy figures that consider wrist swivels a luxury feature.
ОтветитьCan you do the mezco sovereign knight batman?
ОтветитьThis R.E.D. line can also work for stop-motion animators, too!
Why struggle to transform character, when the R.E.D. version of said character can act as the robot mode stand-in, for all scenes!
In my opinion, RED is not good. The idea of having "accurate and good articulated figures" without kibble sounds good to me, but they fail in both things.
The scale is so wrong, like Bumblebee being the tallest RED looking very odd. There's also a huge lack of paint in others like TFP Arcee where she lacks a lot of paint in her body and has an unpainted effect piece that should be blue.
The articulation is ridiculous in most cases, somehow even less poseable than their transforming versions. Some lack ankle pivot, others have terrible ab crunches.
Also, the quality is not good too. There have been reports of loose joints, bad paint, and, in Primal's case, broken thighs because they are made of clear plastic.
I just don't get how they can have so many issues. They don't have to worry about transformations so i expect really good action figures from this line but they're not for the most part.
I think the chest piece is removable so you can get more range out of the crunch and I believe all the figures in the line have it
ОтветитьI dont mind Non Transforming Transformers. Red has had a lot of QC issies, and aren't they store exclusive? I love Primal, would love a Flames Toys model kit.
Also, I may be in the minority, but I transform my Transformers, and display both modes.
Transformers fans have pretty quickly dropped "I don't like them because they don't transform" in favour of very reasonable "I don't like them because they're inferior to transforming alternatives in every way while having a similar price tag".
ОтветитьI might be the only one who displays the beast modes sometimes haha. But I also only got a few of them, and only the ones with imo good enough transformations. I display my megatron in beast mode most of the time. And around Halloween I change Black Arachnia and Rattrap into beast mode too.
Ответитьthe scaling is an issue for the line, and also when it comes to G1 characters the articulation is implemented horribly
ОтветитьI'm not a huge transformers fan mostly because of the way they look in robot form. A lot of them look wonky to me so the red series is cool since they are sculpted in robot form.
ОтветитьI loved this fig but the shitty plastic made me return it
ОтветитьNot bad!
ОтветитьGreat review Anthony…I like this one too❣️
ОтветитьDamn. I'll definitely grab this guy.
ОтветитьI got the coronation starscream one, lower quality plastic than I expected... won't be purchasing any others
ОтветитьNetflix optimus primal lol
ОтветитьThe RED line is a difficult one. On the one hand, I think there is a gap in the market for a budget version of the kind of collector focused figures that Threezero put out. But I'm not sure the RED line is it. The quality of the figures isn't really good enough, nor the articulation on most of them, especially when you take into account that their transforming mainline counterparts are often better articulated
ОтветитьI love the line, the scale on the other hand is wonky as shit but I love non transforming transformers, almost dropped the line after the bumble bee fig, probably the worst of the line imo
ОтветитьThe problem that people have with the RED line, is that the actual (current) transforming toys have more articulation and they ALSO transform
The line itself doesn’t take advantage of not having to transform and go wild with the articulation
Which is a shame, because I really would love great non transforming figures
I think these are fun figures.
ОтветитьApparently you’re not supposed to actually stick the swords inside of the palm. You just have to line up the mold of the swords with the fingertips. Also there is a panel on the bottom of the wrist that you push in to bring up his guns.
ОтветитьI don't have an issue with non transforming transformers, but this line fucking sucks.
ОтветитьIt’s funny to see someone being positive towards this line, because most Transformers collectors hate this line.
