To experience something in the safety for 2 hours. To me a good movie is like a drug for 2 hours. Non fiction I enjoy, makes me appreciate my life more or motivate me to do something similar

Die Filmen in Amerika gemacht, alle waren sehr oft Propaganda fuer den verbotener Fahne "Amerika"- deswegen alle verwickelt gehten in eines Bestrafen fuer das. Die Idolen, Schauspieren, sehr beruehmt und oft beliebt, ihre existential Fehler war fuer den Name Amerika treiben. Auch Propaganda, alle Filmen was machen Vorfahreren hier sehr gut, heldenisch aussehen- zum Beispiel, Little House On The Prairie, Bonanza, etc... Fuer ein Jahrhundert oder zwei, alle geboren in "Amerika" waren verdammt. Die Schauspielen, Plays, auch haben sehr weniges Wert- viele gehen gegen den Weisheits Praezept, "Wickedness Never Was Happiness"; das von Amerika, der Frohheits Engel kann nicht segnen, noch Die von Freude, Friede... wer hat den Mark Amerikanisch, dergleich auch fuer alle Anglisizierten. Sie koennen immerzeits Frohheit suchen, und Vergnuegen hier ist moeglich zu finden- aber wahre Frohheit, etc. ist nicht wirklich fuer die Rassens Apostaeten, oder Leuten Rasse 666, der Land war durch am verbotenste Mitteln in Besitz genommen. Immerzeits es gibt ein Fluch an den Fahne und Name, Amerika; am beste wir veraendern der Lands Name an den am wahreste, Nova Skotia oder Alba Nuadh. Ein pseudo-Englischer Rasse hat vieles Limitierens in Segnungen moeglich; auch sie folgen eitelisch ein Pirate Landraub, die Revolution hier- besser sie glauben nicht es gibt keiner Nach-Effekt fuer das, die Perditions Revolution. Diese Filmen waren eines Versuchen Surrogate Medizin machen fuer alles Ill gemacht von der Angelegenheit, Amerika war gemacht...

Thanks for developing an exciting Film History. Unfortunately, you left out (I know it is a Brief History) the Indian movement (Satyajit Ray), the New German movement (Herzong, Wender, Fassbinder), Sweeden with the remarkable Bergman, and even the new Russian directors such as Tarkovsky I consider that should have been mentioned.

The first movide studio system was NOT started in Hollywood, it was jersey, the thomas edison , nexy it was ENGLAND who beat hollywood by a decade with Ealing..why.did you not mention this ???

I do believe that 'The Horse in Motion' may have been the first proper film or short film, but before that in 1874 their was Jules Janssen's 'Passage De Venus', which was a series of photographs that depict the transit of the planet Venus across the sun on the 9th of December 1874, and what i believe to be the first experience the world had with anything even remotely close to film.

?? Universal studios.... you know the one that had the globe of the world as their emblem .... they new the shape of the world and the contients long before man pretended to go to the moon .... fancy that !

The video is good, but in later half it's mostly about American cinema not World Cinema

As a master of film studies, I must admit that this is a great summary of knowledge about cinema. Great editing, music and conclusion. I came here by accident while practicing my English. I feel touched and I will stay longer. Greetings from Poland (we also have important film pioneers who worked on our own cinematograph and color film even before America - Kazimierz Prószyński, Piotr Lebiedziński and Bolesław Matuszewski). :)
