Commission Or Spread Account?

The cost of the trade is already inside the spread and in most cases it is more than commission accounts. It’s just pscychological. Commission is more transparent at least you know what the broker is making 😊

Which is better for scalping Dollar Index and Gold, Zero or Raw Spread?

I knew I couldn't be the only one who preferred spread over commissions (in general). I'm still in the beginning stages of trading. I plan on having both types of accounts, and only using the economy account when the spread looks too big on the standard account, as it does sometimes on certain pairs. I really like that you can visually see the spread with the bid and ask price line and you don't have to do a ton of math to have an idea of what you're getting, that's mostly for shorter trades. And for longer trades the spread is almost negligible, in most cases, it's not that wide, once you get past that first little part of the move (in the right direction) it's done with.

What lot size do you trade typically? Because my broker would take 0,04 USD per trade (0,08 USD roundturn) per micro lot. Is OANDA much higher or am I confusing something?
