How to easily defeat the high alchemist boss early in Noita

you called it memey but I saw swarm of flies yesterday and knew i had the alchemist in the bag. word of warning though if you kill him too far off screen with this the crystal key will either not spawn or get dissolved somehow. idk it was like 3 or 4 screens below me so im not sure about what happened.

You can also use piercing and fungus if you're lucky enough to find them early on

What about the classic death cross on a trigger? That's always been the easiest way possible for me, and it's almost always accessible

just used the fly swarm technique for my first kill thanks a lot for the high quality videos!

id argue the lightning thrower is better because it kills alchemist and the master of masters

hey fury, you should get the max lukki's mutation and invisibility, and go near the new building's you'll see something that's from what i can tell really interesting and might have some significance to the mysteries of this crazy wizard game. just was messing around and decided to see how truly hard lukki's mutation is and love how the leg's just kill without breaking invis. but i was walking past the pyramid invisible all the way and once that lava tower was in sight my invisibility broke until not in sight, when i say broke i mean i was still invisible but it was visible invisibility, or it might be a bug, but i think not, i think we need to see things in a different way. and i know people have looked in different gamma, brightness, and contrast before, but have they done it as lukki is my question what about other perks, like vampirism on the effect of fungus you'll never shift, because not able to get sick but every now and then you'll get the shift of colors but still never shift, oh and by the way im full vanilla no mods.

Do I have to use the spells he drops to have them appear in future runs or does just killing him unlock all letter spells for every run after?

I find myself having multiple runs where I don't find the materials to do anything about the boss

im very grateful for the revised version of this video, i was confused because I wasn't getting progress on kills using the old methods, then I realized that finding the spells on a mountain isn't the goal lol. now that I know more methods ill be killing him more often :3

Statue was my first way of defeating the alchemist, and still my favorite.

The way I kill him everytime is a teleport wand and then a melee wand. Much like the paha silma strategy

i have defeated the alchemist sometimes but i dont think it counted i belive i used personal tentacler(not sure now) the other times but he did not apear in the enemys list is there something i need to do?

Hahaha, I used one of the statues to clear the entire Alchemy lab once. I had a sparkbolt wand and never would've survived w/o it.

I kill this guy pretty much every run with just lighting and a teleport wand. Teleport around to dodge his shots, zap his face with the lightning (don't use triggers or anything, lightning on its own is the perfect setup for this). 10 shots later, he's dead, and I have the greek letter spells.

5k hours in this game and I never knew you could use mud to make footholds on the tree. every new game I spawned with mud potion i always emptied it or threw it away. gaaah how many other things have I overlooked?!

I fuckedd up my 2hour run by forgetting that lightning caster is already a modifier i put it in front of a sparbolt trigger and wondered why it didnt proc then fled up instead of down left and got blasted xD

I went there for the first time after 340h, thinking i had an awesome weapon. Homing rocks. They obliterated everything i came across. Imagine the shock on my face when he was immune :(

A very good way to beat him is luminous drill with timer and plasma cutter. They're fairly common and that combo can be used to dig back up too. It goes through his shield and can't be deflected back at you because of the luminous drill with timer pushing the plasma cutter forwards, so it won't ever reach you when he deflects it. It's very effective and kills quick.

Does piercing spore pod still work?

I killed the alchemist with an addmana, triple cast, two luminous drills, and one triplicate bolt. He's a fairly easy boss all things considered, so long as you're careful. He really only has the shield to defend himself and honestly it's more of a weakness xD

WAIT THE UNSTABLE CRYSTALS ARE THAT GOOD WHAT

My preferred method is hugging him with contact damage.

The statue kill is top knotch.

Is magic guard no longer viable to kill him?

The first alchemist death i got was with the stature. I didnt even know what happened, only heared explosions and was scared. xD

I'm a fool for trying to do god runs without killing this boss first 🤣 There are ways to get infinite healing/digging of course, but they're convoluted and rely on way more RNG.

Tried to beat this guy on my own and I thought my ambrosia would keep me safe. But when I realize he can deflect my attacks against me and makes lots of slime when hurt with my rapid fire wand, that threw my plan out the window and died. Didn't know personal spells would be that powerful and I just realized they could work with my unlimited spells perk back then. Why didn't I think of that?!

You know what's funny the statue kicking his butt is actually how I got my first win on him accidentally

you dont have to kick the tablet to tablet surf, I just drop it below and rest on it for a little bit. Maybe it replenishes stamina faster though?

Random trigger + Ball lightning is also really good for killing him

Also, sorry for the dip in audio quality. My mixer recently died and I'm still in the process of setting-up and finetuning an entire new audio system.
