Nope. I don't think it's right. The whole part of advertising, especially for travel, is to touch the human spirit in people in a way that makes them want to travel to a certain place. We don't need fake humans when there are lots of real humans available to do the job. It's pretty offensive to avoid employing real humans who have real personalities and human needs, for things like, er, income.

Maybe it's cause I'm just a casual kpop enjoyer but I don't think they will be hurting for not getting this position, and I think it's cool that we can do this and it shows off the appeal and skill of Korea. I don't think that virtual influencers are any more disingenuous about looks than real people with editing and surgery are. I really like virtual influencers because the possibilities are endless and I am an artist and I just like cool art :P
