Im a 32 yr old stay at home mom. Thankfully my husband is able to work for us. But i always worry if i have to go back to work i dont know how i will do it when my period hits. I feel like i would need days off and i dont know if they would alllw that every month. I am unable to do much. I lay in bed all day for 2 or 3 days. It feels like contraction pain from labor. I also get crazy diherrea, or constipation. My fallopian tubes feel like someone is scratching them with nails or sometimes i feel the sensation of someone punching me over and over for hours. Not to mention i get period headaches. I get pain in different parts of my body like the tissue in my hips and my thighs hurt so bad. In other words... my periods are debilitating! If i could just get rid of my uterus i would in a heartbeat i dont want anymore children so i have no reason for it!!!!!

I have endo. I take:
2 Aleve
2 extra strength Tylenol

Try to drink with 2 glasses of water because Aleve is a type of salt (naproxen sodium)

If you have bad nausea/migraine, just start with half a dose in case you vomit. (You can try some infant liquid gravol drops).

It makes me sleepy so I can rest, then I wake up eventually and am able to have some pain free hours. At the 12 hour mark you can redose with the same amount or just 1 of each pill for a half dose.

Slow and steady. You will get through this! 💪 ❤

Wow. I am from the US and have this and cant stop crying. When she went back to her old school when she first got her symptoms. I got so emotional. I can remember that time and never spoke to anyone about and then I just fainted in class. Wow that was powerful

My heart goes out for all the women who experiences painful period. I'm in my early thirties and whenever I get my period it's extremely painful,I have to take painkillers. It has affected my mental health so much. I always need someone with me during this time of the month, can't get off the bed. Why do we have to go through such pain every month,as if life itself is not difficult. I pray for every women to have pain free periods.

Drinking lot of water, eating fruits, white meat and vegetable, less sugar and milk help me a lot. I don't to take medication for period pain. In fact the pain is barely present during my period. It's new for me to feel so great since the first i had my period. Nature is great

Hi. I’m ‘unmarried’ 27 years old and i was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 26. In December 2022, i went through laparoscopic surgery for a 7cm endometric cyst. After that i took contraceptive pills further for 3 months which resulted that It was completely cured. Now I’ve developed 7cm cyst again but this time pain is way more worse. I have consulted multiple doctors. I need prayers and guidance to how to overcome this condition apart from medical procedures.

My life has been absolutely ruined by period pain and severe PMS. I have reached menopause and literally lost the equivalent of 7 years of my life curled up in agony every period. The pattern was horrible: five days housebound, three of which I couldn't eat and was often sick, clots and heaviness that used to go through my clothes. After 7 days, horrible weakness and palpitations then I would feel better until day 12 and then sudden fluid retention and bloating, dreadful acne and many other physical and psychological problems (anxiety, depression, panic, giddiness etc), then back to the period again. I lost jobs, medications didn't help and could never make plans- a life on hold living mostly on unemployment due to the period problems with work and not having the health to sustain self-employment. Family attitude was "have a baby," which as I discovered, could have been fatal. Doctors just wanted to medicate me but medication didn't help. I now have severe depression, CFS and a ton of other health issues of typical menopause- a life over as I approach the end of my fifties.

I started getting extremely bad periods after a very traumatic event in my life . Before that they were manageable .

Today is day one of my period , i spent most of fhe morning curled up in a ball crying in agony , i book 2 paracetamol 2 ibuprofen, they never completly work but take the edge of the pain. The pain in my stomach is so bad it feels like my uterus will explode , the pain goes all the way down my legs . I get dizzy , nauseous , have tummy issues and sometimes im sick . It literally feels like ive been hit by a car , i had to take myself to bed and lay here in agony.. this continues to at least day 4 of my period.

Im going to go to my GP , my friends tell me this isnt normal. Im in so much pain

I suspect I have endo but don't know how to clinically prove it. I'm scared to go to an OBGYN. I get ovary, bladder and in general just pelvic area pains all the time. When I'm on my period my legs get weak from the pain and I curl up into a ball the first two days.

I would recommend a tenz machine to anyone who gets cramps, it has sticky pads that you can stick to your back and belly and it sends pulses that interrupt the pain respecters. It doesn't get rid of the pain but helps dull it. I'm on the first day of my period right now and even typing this was hard. I'm in a lot of pain.

I would be remiss if I didn’t bring this up. I used to have so much pain when I got my period I would cry all night long and just lay down on the cold bathroom floor afraid to move. I went to so many OB, UROLOGIST my pediatrician you name it. So after a decade and many biopsies and exploratory surgeries they realized I had IC meaning no layer over my bladder and that sucker would contract to no end when ovulating and menstruating. If anyone is suffering I hope this info finds you and relief comes. Living with pain makes life harder. Be well all lots of love ❤️ and prayers!

I haven't been diagnosed with endometriosis, but when I went to the doctor with the intent to just check out my hormone levels, they declined me saying that because my periods are regular I have no reason to worry and just have to live with it. I have to crawl on the floor at home, I can't even sit down on the first day because I will fall. And somehow, six pills aren't enough to stop my pains, they just make it bearable to an extent. And I still have to go to work
