ОтветитьI have both. I was embarrassed of emetophobia at first, but after realizing how common it is, I embrace it and try to explain it to others to educate them what it’s like. It’s truly a controlling phobia.

ОтветитьI have issues admitting this but I couldn't take care of my kids when they threw up.
ОтветитьOmg I don't feel alone now! I've had the fear of throwing up since a toddler. It got worse in third grade when a kid puked in class in the desk in front of me. I stopped going to school period.
ОтветитьI vomit every time i finish eating, to keep my weight where i want. I do that since 2016. I was always overweight since 8yo. As a kid i was 60-64kg and as a teenager 104kg max .Then 2015 i almost stoped eating and i had anorexia i got 54kg, i lost 50kg in one year then from a miracle, I started eating again and i got to 67kg and to keep it there by eating whatever i want i started vomiting. Today I am 64min-71kgmax (1,74cm hight)
I eat only one time a day, at night after 12:00a.m. Now when i sleap… good question
Wow what a great couple 🥰🤗🙏
ОтветитьWish, he would have asked her, how she got her disorder and phobia. What caused it? Was it a traumatic event? Parents? Was it a combination of things in childhood?
ОтветитьMy girlfriend has Emetophobia, I will never and don't fully understand what she goes through, but I always try to comfort her the best I can.
ОтветитьBeautiful couple and relationship!

ОтветитьI used to have OCD, I felt like everything I did was wrong, and have the exceedingly strong urge to confess to someone. Therapy helped drastically, and I now haven't had an OCD though in years.

I LOVE THIS SM THANKYOUUU
Chris, as an emetophobic myself, that was the best thing you could have said to her about you feeling well & healthy, it’s SO nice to see you putting people at ease like that, you’re amazing ☺️
ОтветитьI have emetophobia
ОтветитьYou'll get rid of your emettophobia by pretending that it is worse than it is. Whenever something would trigger a level 7 fear, pretend that it is a level 10 fear and you will destroy emettophobia. Look next time you hear someone not feeling good or whatever would trigger your emettophobia, just please pretend that it is worse than you actually feel it is, that will get you to take controlle of it actually. Just like when having a bad dream which is hard to wake up from, the secret is simply to focus on your breathing and to take control of it by breathing as hard and fast as you can. But doing so, you take controle of the subconscious mind which is represented by the dream at this point and you can wake up. Waking up is simply going from one world to another and you can go from the one you are emettophobic to the one you aren't by simply taking controle of your subconscious. The easy way to do it with fears in general is to simply apply them consciously since they are unconscious, reversing them since opposite mind state is reversing the subject's state. Now the speed to which you will be emettophobia free is quantified by this equation. V=IxT
That is your equation to know when you'll be free of emettophobia.V Is speed (or velocity)
I is intensity
T is time
Meaning that the speed to which you'll be emettophobia free depends on the intensity of your pretending, multiplied by the amount of time you apply it. Both during the moments i.e minutes and the amount of global time you've been applying this concept i.e x multiplied by the amount of months etc. Everything can be accomplished by your mouth only so use it!
I have autism, emetophobia, depression, and anxiety. They are diagnosed and it is horrible.
ОтветитьThere is freedom in Jesus.
ОтветитьI have emetophobia, and the last time I threw up was like 7 years ago, I was 7 years old, and every time I see or hear someone throw up, I cover my eyes and ears, start shaking, and my heart races really fast.
And sometimes I feel bad because, I want to help when someone vomits, but my phobia won't let me.
Omg omg this girl explains myself perfectly!!!
