my 540i is kinda clapped lol but 2 engine swaps later and its a blast to drive. once you get past the basic maintenance on these theyre very reliable and great cars

this is an iconic shaped generation, maybe more so than E39. Why doesn't someone modify their 540 precisely the way BMW did with the following generation. I don't know what the hoopla is about with the skinny six banging E34 M, it gained a substantial amount of weight from its previous generation E28 but pretty much had the same engine. Not nearly as many talk about this Handsome sport sedan with a V8 already in place stock!
