ОтветитьMoose poop lovingly drizzled in a delicate hollandaise is good eating!

ALL SECURE IN SECTOR 7 🫡
Hay Shug, great video. Your reviews helped me to get my Draumr!!!!. The thing is, while waiting to receive it, I have a question for you. I bought the “regular” Draumr, not the light weight one. I live in a tropical mostly hot weather do you think this Draumr be too hot?. I am afraid I got the wrong one, thanks for your promt answer
ОтветитьAm I the only one who worried for a split second when I read “leg busting”…. 😅😬🤦♂️
ОтветитьThere is something about getting fast food when getting out of the forest that I love.
ОтветитьNever a dull moment with you Shug. Retirement looks good on you and thanks so much for taking us along on a great backpacking trip. Thanks for the laughs.
ОтветитьTime wounds all heels
ОтветитьQuite the international food experience out there in the woods, Shug, love it!
"Rett i koppen" can be directly translated to "right in the cup". Glad you liked it, Jonas says hi!
Stay Wild, and wooo buddy! 🌲
I live in Georgia and I have 4 or 5 hummingbird feeders around my house. Between the 1st of july and the last of august there are over 30 birds around my house. A hummer will eat over 10,000 mosquitoes a day. I can sit on my front porch all day and not get bit by one. Well maybe get bit by one. The arial battles are amazing. They have different personalities to. A few will follow me all the time. Even down the street while I am driving away from the house.
ОтветитьI have some Ponca blackberries growing in my backyard. These are the sweetest blackberries. I will never be a thru hiker. I love to get to a great place kick back and enjoy. I see from time to time thru hikers. Always in hurry like they are in a rat race. I appreciate what they are doing to each his own. I would even watch your channel if you roadside camp. Nothing wrong with that either. Its about getting out and enjoying yourself in nature whatever form that comes in. God bless ya.
ОтветитьWhen my brother and sister were watching sesame street I was walking in the woods catching things. I guess my hiking began when I could walk. Now I am 62. As you get older it gets harder to stay fit. One thing I discovered was rowing. When you think about it rowing uses all the muscles you would use when hiking. Its NO impact! You would be surprised what only 10 or 15 minutes a day can do for ya. But if you do it look up how to row in proper form. I wished I knew about this years ago.
ОтветитьOMG, the gum chewing, lmao!!!
ОтветитьI need to talk to you.. I had an experience in the gorge last week that I have some questions about
ОтветитьMalt Vinegar?
ОтветитьDo you think you'll continue using the Amok going forward? Still can't say enough great things about my Superior Gear tarp you turned me on to. All secure in Sector Michigan!
ОтветитьAlways excited to see your videos and enjoyed seeing you use the Backwoods BarcaLounger . I don’t watch it immediately, instead I wait for the weekend so I can play it in the TV so I have a better view.
Ответитьyou are great shug. ve learned so much from you. i have passed some of the knowledge onto my kids. I will watch you until the skys dont treat us so well. keep it up :)
ОтветитьAnd a couple of years ago we were camping at the top of the gorge on the west side directly across from table rock parking lot area and we were seeing what looked like headlights from a car moving along the eastern ridge.. the lights were moving pretty quick along that eastern ridge.. maybe 20-30 mph so the next day we drove around to the east side to hike and take a look.. defiantly no roads.. and no way anything could drive along that trail. You ever experienced that?
ОтветитьOnly 143 days till 🎃
ОтветитьWatch out Shug, that Norwegian whistle sounds more like a moose mating call! 😅😅😅
ОтветитьMuch love from Norway😁
ОтветитьNo, your second title should be the "Duke of dilly dally"! Love your vids shug.
ОтветитьThe world is happy when Shug is happy ☀️
ОтветитьAlways a joy and inspiration to see you happy in the woods.
ОтветитьI noticed that you had your pillow hanging in place while sitting up. What smart contraption do you use for that or is it only a cord to the same connector as the bugnet-raiser-cord, or whatever its called :)
ОтветитьI truly hope you get as much happiness and satisfaction out of making these journeys as we all feel when you are kind enough to share them.
I soooo wanna be there
Hello from Virginia!
Do you happen to have a DD Hammock?
Thank you for all your shared knowledge; much appreciated!
Never crossed paths with a hummingbird on the trail or in the camp.
ОтветитьYour trip videos like this make me want to get out there tomorrow, and stinks that i do not have any trip in the near future. The funny thing is that i dont know if i could sit at camp just like that to start, i think i would be to anxious to just sit and enjoy the scenery like that. Even though thats what i would want to do! Need to find a way to unwind faster on trail. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьWhy is the river water so dark? Reminds a bit of the "tea" water at Dolly Sods
ОтветитьI found your channel not too long ago and really enjoy it. I am planning a thru hike of the PCT and am considering using the Draumr. Have you ever combined the Draumr with Tensa Treez?
ОтветитьMissed this when you first uploaded it. Loved hearing all the birds, reminded me of when I was in Michigan in early May doing some hiking and camping. Thanks for being you and thanks for bringing us along.
ОтветитьLife is good eh?
Showing us old boys what we should really be doing.
Thanks again.
Where can I find that table. ? Looks handy
ОтветитьHey Shug,
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I am fairly new to hammocking and I really like it, and I greatly appreciate your creative yet informative and interesting assessments of the different hammocks and other gear. I don’t get out into the wild much, certainly not as much as when I was in my teens and twenties - the last twenty five years have been so focused on work-family-parenting-etc. It is so nice to live vicariously through your outdoor adventures and the insightful discussions you have regarding hammocks and being outdoors. Thank you for what you do!
BTW, I learned that my birthday and national hammock day are on the same day, July 22nd; I wouldn’t have guessed that a national hammock day existed, but now that I know it does I have a great excuse to go hammock camping on my birthday.
Thanks again.
May your trails always hold wonder and may your feet be light.
You know how to entertain! What a glorious spot to enjoy. 💙
ОтветитьHey Shug. I feel if you ever come visit Scotland. There’s some fantastic trails/areas you would really enjoy. One of the more famous ones is the West highland way. Definitely some more technical sections on that would be right up your street. Happy Hanging.
ОтветитьI recommend the carnivore diet. Deep 6 the sugar and processed stuff. I’ve lost 41 lbs in 6 months and gained muscles I didn’t know existed. All my knee pain went away and I recover much faster.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas
