It's pretty clear he didn't feel bad about cheating. He only felt bad about getting caught, anyone with common sense can tell that.

This reminds me very much of SpaceUK, a once famous Geometry Dash player. Basically he is a skilled player, but once he submitted a run from the Golden (an extreme demon, I cant beat it, not even with checkpoints). In the run he noticed in the end he had no clip on and wouldve died once. The hitbox was so small though that no one noticed, he submitted the run and it got accepted. He then tried how much often he could do this. A little bit later he "verified" the hardest level back then, Slaughterhouse. He had no reaction due to being "sick", but he couldntve had a reaction because he was cheating. After like a year or so after that verification, he got called out, admitted it, and Slaughterhouse dropped from #1 to #5 or smth. He since then deleted his YT channel and backed out. When he was still active after verifying slaughterhouse, a bunch of new levels that were harder got verified, he kept on insisting that Slaughterhouse was harder, and so it stayed top 1.

It's weird to get THIS good at a game and still cheat. Like, invincibility or not, there's no way I could make it look anywhere near this good.

I think all the hitless runs are fake

I have never played the game myself. But i have watched many people play and try to 110?% the game and it seems like the game is super fun, but also challenging and really unforgiving.
The fact that the guy said that it was ok because people didnt mind. The entitlement of cheaters and the fact that he doubled tripled and died on "i didnt cheat" hill.

This was a really great deepdive on a subject i had no idea was a thing.

I recently finished playing this game. It took me 100 hours to complete it. I didn't know there were cheats or mods available. That would have made it a lot easier. But the sense of accomplishment and the satisfaction of overcoming the challenges made it all worthwhile.

It's crazy he did something legit as crazy as beating a mod not meant to be beaten but sullied his entire name and accomplishments by cheating. It's really unfortunate it came to that.

I did a couple p5, all bindings with invincibility on, in order to practice. eventually, I got it. Not hitless lmao but i was pretty close! The lowest i got was 3 masks :3

Fun fact: if its literally impossible to prove someone used an invincibility cheat, it probably doesnt matter, i learned when i recorded my first hitless p1 run and forgot to turn off my invincibility, but upon closer inspection of the footage i didnt even get close to any of the hitboxes

Billy Michel is kind of actually bad though. He can't keep up with the best and cheated to do literally impossible things, so he couldn't achieve them with his skill

whats the reason of playing "hitless" with cheats? Normally, when you get hit, you just lose the run. But if you get hit while having cheats, you lose your entire career

From my knowledge of Chinese society I'd wager a very large % of the gamers in it use cheats because they are born and raised in a society where you are meant to do anything and everything you can to be the best at it. So using cheats and illegal software is just part of their "ways to be the best"

But in reality it just means they are the worst at what they are attempting to do.
