Ответитьwhat kind of paper wud u prefer for oil paint?
ОтветитьHow do you know it's 5 values and not 12? I want to learn to paint... i have had no formal education but I'm just trying out things...
ОтветитьYour so great a big respect for you and god bless you🎉🎉🎉♥♥♥
Ответитьthank you so much for taking your time to share. it is very gracious of you and greatly appreciated. i would like to say i wish you didn't. speed up the eyes portion. I'm not sure how many people would like to see your technique for painting eyes. however, that being said, thank you so much for taking the time to share
ОтветитьLove it ,would like to see the finished rendition
ОтветитьHi Zin. First of all thank you so much for the educational videos. Will I have big problems doing this exercise without any medium at all ?
I mean, the paint will be too sticky ? I am alergic and I have heard about people painting without any medium at all, only strait out of the tube.
My only experience is with watercolor.
Second, becoming a patron will I have access to this full video in real time, without the speed up on the end ?
Thank you so much . (sorry any english mistake)
Hello. Do you think liquin would work for a painting like this instead of linseed oil? Also, did you do this in one sitting, or did you wait for layers to dry. I’m very new and trying to get into oil paints, thank you.
ОтветитьCan you do an acrylic one too?? This is amazing I love your style
ОтветитьVideo hadn’t even started and I liked it instantly. 👍
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьGreat video. Magic pieces coming through. Like your use of darkest grey under her nose in two strokes and her nose became 3-D! Thank you:)
ОтветитьSuperb video of your technical process, would love your opinion on my Instagram paintings if you wouldn't mind. It's Cartwrightsketches

ОтветитьHi! I am new to this but really interested in an amateur way. I don't understand the edge control.. Do you just use a new color that is in between the lighter and the darker shades or a different brush or both? Thanks for all you efforts in putting this video together for us to enjoy!
Ответитьthat is why it is pretty hard to make a default black paint when it comes to portrait. Better make use of your own mix of black! tho of course it still depends on how you want the painting outcome. enjoyed the video!
ОтветитьI was mesmorized.
ОтветитьEven if you leave the forms rough its still beautiful. I love zin. Learned so much. Much more than my art school
ОтветитьWow! Your process is very similar to drawing using charcoal! Amazing

Ответитьsooo thats what it looks like to see someone paint perfectly the face plain for plain.
Ответитьthank you zin you teach me a lot, color, value, core shadow, cast shadow, and also how I used to the light everting you teach me zin, I would like to say thank you very much zin... I am from Africa, Ethiopia
ОтветитьBeautiful work
ОтветитьWhich brush you use tell me please
Ответитьvery methodical approach in explaining creating the facial features from scratch. It is very important for beginners how to have precise proportions without using the square method. I am experimenting with creating monochrome black and white portraits. Have done many pencil sketches in the past but using black and white paints, brushes and medium are way different than working with pencils and erasers. It is always good to learn new techniques anyways. Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьLovely. Thankyou so much. Best video ever on Portraits!
Ответить>me "poor artist"
>just can afford two colors
>saw this video
>happy momento
May I ask which black you used? Nvm found it in description
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting this. I’m about to paint my first portrait and amounts all the other vids I’ve found for black and white portraits this one was the best by far. Thank you so much for posting ♥️ keep it up 🙂
