Question, is this about the politicians, or the political philosophies? Because while there is a very compelling argument for politicians all being the same with small differences, there's a pretty big difference between "single issue political viewpoints" between the left and right (mainly guns, abortion, and border-immigration) as well as the other political viewpoints (education, taxes, welfare, regulations, etc.).

I ask because I find a lot of ill-informed "enlightened individuals" that say "it's a horse shoe, both the right and left want the same thing all the way down to the bloggers," to which I ask "how can 1 blogger argue for the banning of all speech found offensive and the other blogger argue for complete unfiltered speech, and both secretly want the same thing?"

As for politicians, primarily of the Washington variety, yeah they're essentially the same on the non-"single issue" viewpoints (you lose your voter base if you compromise on those). "I won't raise your taxes," but I wasn't pointing at you, I was pointing to the guy behind you, and what-not. That's why "drain the swamp" was a common slogan of the Trump campaigners; if the democrats are movie monsters, then the republicans are the creepy crawlies; neither are really all that great.

It'd be nice if it would end with the truth: "...and after I thought Trump would end the reign of the Left-Right Paradigm, it turned out he just exasperated it to new levels of divisiveness!" Because, in the end, that is exactly what he did.

And now after seeing some of your other videos, I see you're just deepening the false dichotomy that we live in. The creators of this video are on a side, and are promoting that side. There is no relief from the false left-right paradigm here - it's a false hope.
