I JUST cannot stop watching this movie! I have played it a dozen times! I KNOW, RIGHT? My mother had quilting "parties", at least that's what I called them. Once a week she would have a group of friends come over and I remember them sitting in a circle adding pieces together until it was the size of our living room. They would laugh and talk for what seemed the whole morning. My quilts never measured up to hers, but my kids love them. The actors in this wonderful movie worked so well together!! I want a sequel!

One year at a party a candle in the bathroom caught my best friend’s daughter s boyfriend’s new jacket on fire. He didn’t know. I saw him leave the washroom and I see flames coming off his back. I literally jumped on him threw him down to the ground and put out the fire. 🧯 candles are dangerous! And I have had a fire at my house from a candle. My first home. I was in my 20’s. And the candle I lite on my kitchen table rolled and caught the curtains on fire 🔥. It happened so fast ! Please don’t use lite candles. Get burners to heat them , enjoy the smells that way. Stay safe my friends! ❤

Alas! The lead actress did not act like a dizzy chick with issues. The leading actor was not an ex-boyfriend who dumped her. Great movie…Bravo!

Great movie! I'm not sure why the main conflict is building code - literally every business owner knows about keeping the building up to code!! But it was cute 😅

This quilting romance movie really hit home for me. My late Momma loved quilting. She also liked to knit a lot. She handmade her own loom in 1987 and entered it in the Fair that year and she won 1st place. Momma was gifted in fiber craft and she liked it all very much. From carting wool, spinning wool, weaving wool on her loom, using her knitty knotty to keep her spun wool nice and tidy, winding her spun wool into skeins of natural colors,. And she would knit so many beautiful fiber crafts. She would also enjoy going to the church and the ladies at church would have a quilting bee once a week. That was back in the late 70s-early 80s. Momma has made me some very beautiful and warm quilts over the years. I still have them all. She had a great eye for colors, patterns and designs in all the quilts that she made.

To all the quilters and the people who also use the other fibers too. Your talents and gifts are very nice, thank you very much for all you are doing. 🧵🪡🪢. This is a great movie.

But why do they have such crap music in their sound track...its totally a bad contrast to the main sound track sounds...the jazzy christmas tunes need to go

Cute movie. It was just annoying hearing the sound of her sucking her teeth all the time. Otherwise, it's a nice and heartfelt holiday movie.

The first scene opens with the woman leaving her house with several candles still burning. The fireplace looks quite real, too, and if so, is another huge safety hazard.

That’s an intricate pattern for a first timer……..lots of busy needles behind the scenes to complete it in time…..so refreshing to have a Christmas movie with a quilting theme!! Thanks to all the great actors too!

I've lost count how many times I've watched this movie. It is so heartwarming and REAL. No high-powered executives who've lost sight of the important things of life. No, just two normal, average people... like most of the viewers... who become good friends first. One of the best Christmas movies I've ever seen.
