I admire your dive into full coverage. I’ve stitched for years and have just now bought my first full coverage. It’s an Alphonsa Mucha print, I’m so excited to start but definitely intimidated. I am an avid reader as well and find the best of both worlds by listening to audiobooks while I stitch. Talk about my happy place!! Does your wife stitch as well? I'm always envious of spouses who stitch together. My husband has a Lizzie Kate kitted up but has yet to start it. It's been like 4 years now. Lol. I enjoy reading, but I am really into audiobooks- listening and stitching. I use the Overdrive library app and Kindle Unlimited. Beautiful pieces. I have the QS Arthur, Merlin and Morgana. Fun stuff. As another reader/stitcher, I’m so glad to have found your channel! I will say I’ve been stitching for just a little longer (30 yrs 🤣) but I very much enjoy watching new Stitchers discover new things - designers, supplies, techniques, etc. Thank you for sharing that journey with the FlossTube community. I’ve been sharing book info on my own channel during my FT videos, and you are definitely encouraging me to do even more. I doubt I will branch out into a full on BookTube, but never say never! I grew up in SW Michigan (New Buffalo) and now live in the Phoenix metro area where it is, usually, much warmer. Usually.

Welcome to the flosstube community. I started watching thinking that we didn't have much overlap in interests in terms of either reading content or stitching subjects, but as I watch more I see things I like (love the Venice project!). I may have to dip my toe in some of your reading recommendations, although I'm a bit of a lightweight on the horror stuff. I love crime novels, and have started a few fantasy authors I didn't think I would like but really enjoyed. Anyway, welcome and keep making the videos.

I haven't been brave enough to start one yet, but I have a nice huge full coverage of my own. Vincent Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' by Cross Stitch Collectables. They do some awesome full coverage stuff, you may wanna check em out. I have never seen that Audrey Hepburn pattern before, but it is looking just stunning! I've got you subscribed and notified, so I can't wait to see more! (and I will try to get caught up with your other videos in the mean time!)

Welcome to Flosstube. You know the best Stitchers are sailors! They would put threads in the water (sea water) and drag the floss along the side of the boats. About bullying- my family gave my floor stand away. I was too slow. Yes, all thread and fabric. (I was young married- thought I was being a good wife. Ha! Ha!) I was just being a reckless spend thrift.

Welcome I glad I found you I do have videos but I do other crafts as well so I do a Flosstube/ crafty update every Monday or have recently been trying to I start cross stitching last step. Only have 4 Wips at the moment and only one is not full coverage and 2 of the full coverage are heavn and earth designs

This is my first video of yours, and I'm actually only 5 mins in and my heart goes out to you. I am 43, and was also picked on and bullied especially in high school due to my weight. I realized one day, in my early 20s, that I always walked with my head down and never ever looked at strangers bc I didn't want to see them laughing at me. I decided to stop doing that that day. I really hate to sound trite or condescending but I am SO proud of you for not only picking up something that made you nervous, but then also recording it. GOOD FOR YOU! Now, I'm off to finish your video. PS: I came to your channel for the books and am staying for the flossing. I don't cross-stitch, but I do crochet and some embroidery. I had never heard of flosstube until your video.

Thank you for helping to break down the stereotypical barriers out there for male stitchers. My own Husband just started stitching two weeks ago- on a FC design we created in PC Stitch. It's a poster from The Matrix, 4 pages, 50 colors. He is diggin' it and doing an awesome job.
