Paying 10 lakh in an income of 40 LPA. In remaining 30 lakh again I have to pay around 10 lakh as indirect taxes if I purchase any property or any car. On the whole I am working approx 6 months for government. In earning 40 lakhs I have to work 10-12 hours in IT due to increased responsibilities. Government didn't gave me job. I am earing from foreign clients still why I have to pay taxes.

The govt can atleast give life insurance and job insurance for the tax payers. Its really painful to see we work 10hrs a day and pay 30% tax but we get nothing in return . People getting all the freebies are preachings mera bharath gyan in the comments section. They would understand when the pay 20-30k rupees in tax every month. There is nothing wrong in people thinking to move abroad as atleast their hard warned money is being used properly and they are given due respect.

Ours is a tax economy and not a manufacturing economy. So maximum taxes needed to fuel the economy. If you are good at manufacturing and exporting to 150 countries the tax will be less. So we lack creativity and innovation.

Colonial mindset in the Mistry of finance. They want their share from the income rather than thinking of fair vs unfair. As the number of actual incometax payers are very very low percentage, salaried class demands the government to abolish incometax upto 1cr per year as these middle classes only paying incometax plus other indirect taxes whereas all other citizens paying only indirect taxes. When the ministry of finance leaves their colonial mindset of getting income sharing to public welfare only, this drastic change could be possible. Any one earning more than a crore per annum can be considered as rich and this has to be linked to official inflation number and shall change every year. Incometax slab shall be over and above 1cr per annum.

You guys have no idea about how a nation is run or about finances.

Yes here its like u hav to pay tax everytime u sit and stand.. its jus tax everywher from what we buy to what we eat, goverment wants portion from everthing we want for ourself from property to popcorn and goverment wont give anything to us in return, its seriously a major issue... we get poor quality with pesticides, unhealthy food, and risky roads to die.. all things makes u hate living in such country..

Its so sad that we are preparing future kids to do the current job and the people who are sitting in ministry can not implement it bcz they wanna save for their future generations 😅

Sad reality of our country
1) First category of people declare yearly income less than 2.5L to evade tax, pay 0 tax and live in huge lavish bungalows. They actually show their monthly expenses less than 15K to live such a lifestyle. Authorities are not bothgered even if they come to know about them evading tax
2) Second category does not have option and have to pay tax as they are salaried and TDS plays the role. They live in apartments which are on loan and keep paying installments for 20 years
3) Third category does not care to pay tax even though they might not be rich but having income which is taxable
What we get for the tax we pay - 0 medical facilities, roads with potholes, not usable public transportation system

Countries like Netherlands, germany , have almost 50% tax whixh sounds absurd, right? But everything is free there. Education, Healthcare. India will never in a million years reach this. Thats why ill leave the country too.

I don't hate paying taxes. I hate it when my fellow citizens are not paying taxes. It is like when school doesn't punish the bad student.
