Bandai namco doesn’t do warriors/musou games. Koei tecmo does. I am happy if a warriors game is cancelled because I hate them the most. No offense to anyone that likes them.

As for Mario party, I think superstars the last one was the best of switch so far but maybe jamboree will change my mind. But hearing that a huge chunk of the mini games won’t be on regular boards and are locked to only side modes really sucks 🤨. That does lower the game for me and I didn’t even play it yet. The actual boards better be good enough to carry the game through for me. It seems like it is based on what I heard from people. We will see.

The mini game issue with Jamboree is v valid. You notice it before long. And when you factor in old mini games too, it's a bit disappointing they couldn't just make sure we had loads of regular mini games that don't require motion.

Also, people are giving the boards their flowers before even playing them. Goomba Lagoon really isn't great. There's a very clear meta on how to win on it and you can get stuck on some islands unless you have certain items in your back pocket. Reminds me of a better version of Mega Fruit Paradise but really, its not great.

And the pace of the game is sloooow. Takes way longer than Superstars.

Kid Icarus probably got cancelled. I think they were commissioned for Smash and Kid Icarus. Smash is safe. Sucks that Nintendo didn't just pump money into the project to keep it going... Maybe it wasn't up to standards. Much like Metroid Prime 4 before.

I don't need to wait on my arse for Nintendo to FINALLY...if ever, bring out a GameCube emulator. I have one for my PC and don't have to pay a monthly fee for it either! And every game ever released for the system is available online too, for free. BOOM!!!

considering the n64 catalogue for nso and big missing games what i'm thinking about is that this will be a test for the new rollback netcode that will be implemented by nintendo and it seems that the first game that comes out with this feature will be a smash game (cause gamecube controllers). In my experience EuroGamer and GameSpot are not pro Nintendo generally and Mario Party is like musicals to lots of left brainers.
