Nintendo Switch 2 Revealed Soon!? Whelp, Here's Why it Should Be!

I’m so confused where everyone keeps getting that Switch was revealed on a Friday. They announced the first look on Wednesday, October 19th, 2016 and had the First Look the following day, Thursday, October 20th, 2016. (It was early morning, too, so it was the same day in Japan.)

Dunno man, the more time goes by the more I feel a march reveal for a June launch. If OZ is NX but three steps forward we don't need time to understand the concept. People are already willing to buy the thing, so perhaps Furukawa's words were more revealing than what we thought previously. Also investors might be kept at bay with some solid digital software sales data for once.

I doubt Nintendo will reveal the switch 2 before November 5th NP. Come on man. Nintendo didn't drop the prices for the current switch consoles yet. Usually a price drop happens for the current hardware before new hardware comes out NP.

Nintendo is not going to reveal the switch 2 this Sunday NP. Nintendo doesn't reveal new hardware and software on a Sunday. October 20th this year is on a Sunday.

I've been on team 2025 this whole time ⏲ NP.

Why would Nintendo ever make any kind of announcement for the successor to one of the most popular systems of all time during the holiday season? It’s gonna happen next year. Maybe early next year. But definitely not in October or November. They’re not gonna give up the maximization of profits.

They could make announcements about the movies. Spin it like Zelda will be the new Harry Potter for the movies 🍿

Nov 5th is the last day of the playtest, so maybe then..but also it's Election Day in the states.. all attention will be away from the reveal.

Nothing about the Playtest releasing October 23? Would think they would announce something themselves before the Playtest because people are going to talk. I would therefore expect a presentation before the 23rd of October.

I do think (and hope) that its being reveaed in October but maybe the plan is to say at the investors meeting that its being revealed in this quarter (oct-dec). Wouldnt be typical for nintendo but they were also weirdly transparent about the direct in june.

Nintendo won't reveal it until 2025. They need to sell current Switch as much as possible in this year.

Every time you make up a new rumor Nintendo delays the reveal by a day. In other words if you truly desire legitimate news regarding Nintendo's next system, stop making shit up and be quiet.

There is no way they have any marketing campaign ready at all at this point. It would have leaked by now. And I don't buy the 3d model of the switch 2. For all we know that was a super Switch version that wasn't released ever.
Therefore- you won't be hearing about Switch 2 until Feb.

October / November Reveal !

Ok this is kinda confidential but we’re almost there so I will just say it: back in September I heard switch would be revealed between then and the following 6/7 months

Don't just look at the announced software, look at all the software that has been substantiated by credible sources over the last couple years. That's why I'm convinced there's at least one, maybe two original Switch-centric general Directs to come before the Switch 2 reveal.

Remember, we've seen this movie before. Nintendo looks backed into a corner to where a Switch 2 reveal looks like the only option, then they drop a general Direct that shuts everyone up for another six months or so.

I'm on the other side from a lot of these comments. I dont even mind these videos. At least you use things we know and speculate reasonable things. some of these other channels make shit up for 10+ min every other day with significantly more clickbait titles/thumbnails.
