i had a school counselor that was into kingdom hearts, i used to be a really troubled kid, and i was into kh early into my life even reading the manga. he would always let me come in his dorm room because we lived at a prep school and he lived on campus, we’d always play kingdom hearts together, sometimes i’d just come in to watch him play lol i always felt so safe with kingdom hearts the soundtrack the story the emotion it always felt like a direct reflection of the life i’m living for whatever reason, and he ended up even giving me the actual game when kh3 came out he gave me kh2. before i even had a system so the first game i played on my first p4 was kh2. i was 15 i’m 22 now. and man mr. carey i love and miss you man i will never loose the love for this series you got me through the toughest mental moments in my life and made them way easier to live through. i hope that kid going through whatever can find this game too and find peace within it the same way i did and still do

This game is permanently linked to memories of fall for me. I used to watch my older brother play this. It’s a bizarre comfort. Especially the really early bits in twilight town, brings back memories of my friends when I was a little kid.

Back then, before KH3 came out, when he said “one more journey”, I really thought this was the last game.

I love the upbeat battle music in this game.

No wonder people quit this series because it is so confusing as hell

My mum and dad got kingdom hearts 2 before we went to Disneyland . I never ended up finishing this game when i was younger. Not because i found it difficult, more because i didn’t want it to end.
