My wife and I built a 572 sq ft house with a full basement. That along With getting power,well, septic and land we spent about $120,000. The plan was to make it a duplex and with the savings from not having a mortgage we will be moving into the larger part in a few years. We have a rent potential to make $1000 a month in what we are currently living in and that will buy a small snowbird home down south. We built it so it is energy efficient.

Thank you for acknowledging how hard it really is to live this type of lifestyle and to get a tiny house. We settled for a 1200sq foot home because it cost the same as a tiny home without land. Now where living below our means to pay off those student loans.

96k in debt is so miniscule for most people. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks we live outside our means in western society.

I’ve seen hundreds of these tiny living videos and I must say that these two are the most realistic individuals I’ve seen.
Practical, down to earth and comes across so sincere. If everyone found a partner they we’re actually matched with instead of all the other petty reasons how much better this world would be. I thoroughly love the stepping stone your currently on and hopefully you will feel comfortable enough to provide us an update when you do transition to the next location. Thank you so very much!

Wow everything she said was absolutely spot on!! Beautiful tiny set up and family! We built our tiny as well with no experience and by the end of the build I hated the house as well and wanted to sell it .😬 Now that we are settled we love our home and are glad we did it, but we wouldn’t build a tiny house ever again. Way too much work and stress building your own. 🤣
