Seriously know nothing about cars but I could listen to Tommy talk about them all day ✨
ОтветитьSo, do the Broncos come in different sizes? I'm in a '16 Jeep Patriot, which is smaller than a JK. But stopped behind a Bronco the other day, I was shocked that it was dwarfed by my Patriot. In this video, the Bronco looks larger than the JK. Weird.
ОтветитьYou do NOT need bead locks to air down below 25. You can easily get down to 15, 12, or even 11, without having to worry too much about breaking a bead. Especially if you have larger wheels like 17s or above. 25psi just isn't doing much for you. You are restricting yourself to just a fraction of your available traction.
I regularly air down to 11psi on my ZJ. 33in tires on 15s and never lost a bead in 12 years of rock crawling in Arizona.
This might be the most difficult trail I've seen you guys tackle on this channel, but i still wouldn't call it an 8 out of 10. Probably a 3, MAYBE a 4..
I would consider a 4/10 anything that is impossible without at least one locker. A 6/10 requires two lockers. 7/10 means body damage is unavoidable. An 8/10 requires 40in tires. And a 10/10 would require purpose built, tube frame buggies.
Can we see more H2 content? No one does much with them- and I just purchased one myself, lol.
ОтветитьAwesome comparison! Does the FORD beep and ding at you the whole time while wheeling or can you shut the sensors off?
ОтветитьFan boy much for Ford? Didn't see many spotters for the jeeps.
ОтветитьBut if you add a lift too the bronco and bigger tires w bead locks it would probably perform just as good as the jeep and for it to come back and have such little time on the manufacturing part the bronco performs astonishing
ОтветитьGet the shock skid plates for the Bronco if you keep doing trails like that!
ОтветитьPutting the mirrors in has always been such a pet peeve of mine... Mirrors barely stick out and if you're going to hit your mirror, you're tearing off your flares and messing your paint up anyway.. and the mirrors are meant to fold in when they hit something anyway... such a useless thing to do.. like when people park on the street and fold their mirrors in... like, come on... so unnecessary
ОтветитьParking sensors disconnect it 😣 great wheeling in Bronco impressive allows fun informative channel subscribed from BC 🇨🇦👍
Ответитьi run 15psi without beadlocks on a regular basis... you guys should invest in a power tank it was my best investment.
Ответитьi dont like having the mirrors stay on the bronco body, when you go out to do sketch trails and you wanna take the doors off... those mirrors stick out
ОтветитьThese two are the biggest dorks ever.
ОтветитьWhat can I say... I'm impressed, I loved everything, even the dialogue, the funny moments and the scary ones too. Thank you so much Guys, you're really awesome! Dad and son, it's a joy watching you, great family!
ОтветитьThat Bronco is making me hungry for some macaroni & cheese
ОтветитьI've always been a Jeep guy but man it makes me want to buy a Bronco
ОтветитьWhat is under the hood on the 14jk never seen that before
Ответитьi wish your videos were longer because i enjoy watching them!
ОтветитьFI-NAH-LY! I kinda quit watching this channel's videos because I didn't feel we were getting REAHL DANG CHALLENGIN' off road reviews. "Oh, it's a little icy and I don't have AT's!" - WHO CARES! Nobody stays on those stock tires! This is the kind of solid reliable challenging reviews that we want - and without the MFG around censoring your thoughts! Give us these on some regular basis - say 3 to 6 a year (OR MORE!) - then I'm back onboard. Give me real 'MERICAN version of AU's 4wdAction! Give me some solid real world use across CO, UT, WY, MT, and ID!
Go that direction on most episodes and I would watch every week!
So many of your videos have good info, but really 30 minutes for basic mileage specs and stock just ain't worth it. You could give me that on an Excel spreadsheet. Rather, give me some real world like this!
Produce more of this! (and oh btw - awesome wheelin'!)
There's no need for turbos in rock crawling. Torque and low gears and lockers
ОтветитьFact. The Bronco is not stock it had many extras. Not payed extra because it comes with them doesn't mean is base 👈 model
Ответить63K plus financing 🤯🤦♂️ no way. You can get a base model Lambo for that price
ОтветитьThe images you guys get on the rocks r insanely good
ОтветитьFunny how the Bronco lifted the tire at the solid axle end.
ОтветитьWait the JL wrangler or the orange one is owned by Justin? I got a friend called Justin and he is a jeep lover what a coincidence!?!?
ОтветитьMy wife's jeep is a Hella Yella JL Rubicon with the four banger turbo automatic. We love it. My rig is the Gladiator.Rubicon with a 2 inch MOPAR lift and 35 inch BFG KO2s.
ОтветитьShoulda brought the Landy along 😉 😎 ✌️
ОтветитьWhat's the difference between a guitar and a fish?
You can't tuna fish.
Hurricane everything before the newness wears off
Ответитьthe guy would rather shove a shop vac hose up his jacket than just... put the doors back on during the winter? ....
ОтветитьY'all can safely air down to 12-15 without bead locks. I go that low on my Suburban and haven't ever had an issue. Greatly improves ride quality and grip. 👍
ОтветитьDefinitely the type of car i would choose for Canada winter :)
ОтветитьWow that final hill climb by the bronco was seriously impressive! Can't deny that.
Ответить💪🏻🔥❤️
ОтветитьThe Bronco is not really built for all purposes like the Jeep The Bronco is just another SUV a dying breed The car makers are making them weak
ОтветитьAwesome job Tommy and Norman. My thoughts though and question is Norman, how would that $350000 G Wagon stack up to the Bronco and Jeep Rubicon on that very same trail?
ОтветитьWhen you have the best spotters putting you in right places it's easier to drive than having the best truck with no spotter or worse a shitty spotter that puts you behind the 8ball to start....
ОтветитьAired down to 25??? I run 25psi on highway on my 37s!
ОтветитьIt’s nice that Ford considered tall people being able to drive the bronco. Jeep pretty much said screw tall people after the CJ-7. I’m 6’8” I can comfortably drive my Bronco. Haven’t even been able to even get into the driver seat of the Jeep. Just some food for thought
ОтветитьI dont think you'll see what the jeep is about until you start hitting 11's and 12's... I didn't bond with mine until after some "holy $hit! how did we make it thru that?!" moments
ОтветитьI had the day off & watched a pile of these older TFL shows, they never get old.
And who else but TFL would buy a $60,000 vehicle & "real world test" it the way they do.
Two👍🏻👍🏻 for TFL.
I just bought a 2 door bronco badlands and I absolutely love it. While I can see that with the articulation jeeps are better, they are both just fantastically capable machines.
ОтветитьSome people who go out with their broncos with jeeps beat the crap out of their broncos.
ОтветитьI’m glad I went with Jeep instead of the Bronco.
Ответитьits very misleading when guys who have no idea how to drive off-road are the ones who are doing the testing. If you would title these video's as beginner video's as a disclaimer it would be much more truthful. These guys are not the guys who should be doing off-road testing and reviews. Maybe they would be better at testing street cars but definitely not off-roading. The video is very well produced and edited but the content leaves a lot to be desired. This video should be titled "A beginners guide to off-roading" and I would give it 5 stars for sure.
Ответитьcan a bronco with just front a rear lockers do this trail minus the sway bar disconnect?
ОтветитьI didn't realize that trail complexity had changed a bit, back in the day "trailsoffroad" had that as a 8. Either way, 7 or 8, that's right up there with the toughest in Colorado. I think the only one harder is Carnage Canyon out on the west slope. This was a ton of fun filming with you guys, I am legit impressed with the Bronco and can't wait to test it out myself on all the trails here in Colorado. Hopefully I have one by next summer. we'll see!! GREAT VIDEO!!
