ثُمَّ اَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا ٩٢حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا بَلَغَ بَيْنَ السَّدَّيْنِ وَجَدَ مِنْ دُوْنِهِمَا قَوْمًاۙ لَّا يَكَادُوْنَ يَفْقَهُوْنَ قَوْلًا ٩٣ قَالُوْا يٰذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ اِنَّ يَأْجُوْجَ وَمَأْجُوْجَ مُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلٰٓى اَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا ٩٤ قَالَ مَا مَكَّنِّيْ فِيْهِ رَبِّيْ خَيْرٌ فَاَعِيْنُوْنِيْ بِقُوَّةٍ اَجْعَلْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ رَدْمًا ۙ ٩٥ اٰتُوْنِيْ زُبَرَ الْحَدِيْدِۗ حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا سَاوٰى بَيْنَ الصَّدَفَيْنِ قَالَ انْفُخُوْا ۗحَتّٰىٓ اِذَا جَعَلَهٗ نَارًاۙ قَالَ اٰتُوْنِيْٓ اُفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِ قِطْرًا ۗ ٩٦ فَمَا اسْطَاعُوْٓا اَنْ يَّظْهَرُوْهُ وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا لَهٗ نَقْبًا ٩٧ قَالَ هٰذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّيْۚ فَاِذَا جَاۤءَ وَعْدُ رَبِّيْ جَعَلَهٗ دَكَّاۤءَۚ وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّيْ حَقًّا ۗ ٩٨ وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ يَّمُوْجُ فِيْ بَعْضٍ وَّنُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَجَمَعْنٰهُمْ جَمْعًا ۙ 

“Kemudian dia(Dzul Qarnain) menempuh suatu jalan (yang lain). Hingga ketika dia sampai di antara dua gunung, didapati di belakang (kedua gunung itu) suatu kaum yang hampir tidak memahami pembicaraan. Mereka berkata, ‘Wahai Dzul Qarnain, sesungguhnya Ya’-juj dan Ma’-juj itu (makhluk yang berbuat kerusakan di bumi, maka bolehkah kami membayarmu imbalan agar engkau membuatkan dinding penghalang antara kami dan mereka?’ Dzul Qarnain berkata, ‘Apa yang telah dianugerahkan Rabb-ku kepadaku lebih baik (dari-pada imbalanmu), maka bantulah aku dengan kekuatan (manusia dan alat-alat), agar aku dapat membuatkan dinding penghalang antara kamu dan mereka, berilah aku potongan-potongan besi.’ Hingga ketika (potongan) besi itu telah (terpasang) sama rata dengan kedua (puncak) gunung itu, dia (Dzul Qarnain) berkata, ‘Tiuplah (api itu).’ Ketika besi itu sudah menjadi (merah seperti) api, dia pun berkata, ‘Berilah aku tembaga (yang mendidih) agar kutuangkan ke atasnya (besi panas itu).’ Maka mereka (Ya’-juj dan Ma’-juj) tidak dapat mendakinya dan tidak dapat (pula) melubanginya. Dia (Dzul Qarnain) berkata, ‘(Dinding) ini adalah rahmat dari Rabb-ku, maka apabila janji Rabb-ku sudah datang, Dia akan menjadikannya hancur luluh; dan janji Rabb-ku itu adalah benar.’ Kami biarkan mereka (Ya’-juj dan Ma’-juj) di hari itu berbaur antara satu dengan yang lain, kemudian ditiup lagi sangkakala, lalu Kami kumpulkan mereka semuanya.” (QS. Al-Kahfi : 92-99)


Al-Kahfi(Ashabul Kahf) yang artinya Penghuni-Penghuni Gua. Makna yang tersirat dalam surat itu, mungkin Yajuj Majuj makhluk yg bisa berevolusi yang terkurung dalam kegelapan.
Hadits yang menyatakan Yajuj Majuj adalah keturunan(anak) Nabi Nuh atau ciri-cirinya mereka adalah manusia adalah Hadits lemah(Dhaif) artinya, Sanadnya ada yang terhilang.



وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَاِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ اَبْصَارُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۗ يٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِيْ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ

“Hingga apabila dibukakan (tembok) Ya’juj dan Ma’juj, dan mereka turun dengan cepat dari seluruh tempat yang tinggi. Dan telah dekatlah kedatangan janji yang benar (hari Berbangkit), maka tiba-tiba terbelalaklah mata orang-orang kafir. (Mereka berkata,) ‘Aduhai, celakalah kami, sesungguhnya kami adalah dalam kelalaian tentang ini, bahkan kami adalah orang-orang yang zhalim.” (QS. Al-Anbiya : 97)

Mungkin artinya penghuni2 gua(Yajuj Majuj) akan keluar dari hampir seluruh gunung yang tertembus.


Hadits Ahmad No. 15555 :
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ فُرَاتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ اطَّلَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ نَتَذَاكَرُ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ مَا تَذْكُرُونَ قَالُوا نَذْكُرُ السَّاعَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا لَنْ تَقُومَ حَتَّى تَرَوْنَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ الدُّخَانُ وَالدَّجَّالُ وَالدَّابَّةُ وَطُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَنُزُولُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَيَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَثَلَاثُ خُسُوفٍ خَسْفٌ بِالْمَشْرِقِ وَخَسْفٌ بِالْمَغْرِبِ وَخَسْفٌ بِجَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ وَآخِرُ ذَلِكَ نَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ قِبَلِ تَطْرُدُ النَّاسَ إِلَى مَحْشَرِهِمْ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ سَقَطَ كَلِمَةٌ

Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] dari [Furat] dari [Abu Thufail] dari [Hudaifah bin Asid] Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam menemui kita dan kita sedang membicarakan tentang Hari Kiamat, lalu Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam bersabda: "Apa yang kalian bincangkan" Kami menjawab, kami sedang membincangkan Hari Kiamat. (Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam) bersabda: "Kalian tidak akan menemui Hari Kiamat sampai kalian melihat sepuluh tandanya: keluarnya asap, Dajjal, binatang melata, keluarnya matahari dari sebelah barat, turunnya 'Isa bin Maryam, keluarnya bangsa Yajuj dan ma'juj, dan berkobarnya api di tiga tempat, yaitu di sebelah timur, barat dan di Jazirah Arab dan pemungkasnya adalah api yang menggiring mereka menuju ke tempat berkumpul..."


"Dari Imam Ahmad mengatakan, telah menceritakan kepada kami Hasyim, telah menceritakan kepada kami Al-Awam, dari Jabalah ibnu Suhaim, dari Muassir ibnu Afarah, dari Ibnu Mas'ud r.a., ketika malam di Isra Miraj- kanNYA Nabi Muhammad SAW berjumpa dengan Nabi Ibrahim, Musa, dan Isa. Mereka sedang berbincang-bincang mengenai hari kiamat." Nabi Saw. melanjutkan sabdanya, "Lalu mereka mengembalikan perkara mereka kepada Ibrahim a.s. Maka Ibrahim a.s. menjawab, 'Saya tidak mempunyai pengetahuan tentang hari kiamat." Lalu mereka mengembalikan perkaranya kepada Musa, tetapi Musa menjawab, 'Saya tidak mempunyai pengetahuan tentang hari kiamat.' Kemudian mereka mengembalikan perkara tersebut kepada Isa, dan Isa mengatakan, 'Ingatlah, mangenai waktu terjadinya kiamat, tidak ada seorang pun yang mengetahuinya selain Allah Swt. Dan menurut apa yang telah dijanjikan oleh Tuhan kepadaku, Dajjal akan muncul. Saat itu aku memegang dua buah tombak. Apabila Dajjal melihat diriku, maka leburlah dirinya sebagaimana leburnya timah." Nabi Saw. melanjutkan kisahnya, "Kemudian Allah membinasakan Dajjal manakala Dajjal melihatnya (Nabi lsa). Sehingga pepohonan dan bebatuan mengatakan, 'Hai orang muslim, sesungguhnya di bawahku bersembunyi orang kafir, maka kemarilah dan bunuhlah dia.' Lalu Allah membinasakan orang-orang kafir, kemudian orang-orang kembali ke kota dan negerinya masing-masing. Maka pada saat itulah muncul Yajuj dan Majuj, mereka turun dengan cepat dari seluruh tempat yang tinggi. Lalu mereka menginjak negeri manusia, dan tidak sekali-kali mereka mendatangi sesuatu tempat melainkan mereka merusaknya. Tidak sekali-kali pula mereka melewati suatu mata air melainkan mereka meminumnya sampai habis hingga kering. Kemudian manusia kembali datang mengadu kepada Nabi lsa, maka Nabi lsa berdoa kepada Allah Swt. Lalu Allah membinasakan mereka dan mematikan mereka semua hingga bumi menjadi busuk karena bangkai mereka yang sangat banyak dan baunya yang sangat busuk. Kemudian Allah menurunkan hujan besar dan menghanyutkan jasad-jasad mereka, lalu banjir melemparkan bangkai mereka ke laut".
