How GOOD was Mandibuzz ACTUALLY? - History of Mandibuzz in Competitive Pokemon

Actually Vullaby evolves into Mandibuzz at level 54, not level 56, but would agree with the frustration of trying to evolve Vullaby into Mandibuzz. Usually that amount of effort to acquire a Pokémon is along the lines of Pokémon such as hydreigon, aggron, haxorus, and tyrannitar, not so much for a two stage flying type Pokémon.

mandi mandi mandi, where do i begin? from its utterly amazing defensive statline of 110/155/145 to its ghost resistance + roost letting it counter the terrifiying lunala, status immunity (besides gyaradosite) this alone would make any mon good but theres somehow more. defog, u turn, low speed, great matchup into most of the tier (unboosted metagrossite kartana, SD ndm etc)
makes mandibuzz a generally great wall from fatter semistall builds to even some offensive builds due to them appreciating its profile. truly one of the best pokemon in the tier. LONG LIVE MANDIBUZZ

I think that a Mega Mandibuzz with 50 in Special and Physical Defense, and Magic Guard or Regenerator, would be hilarious. It probably wouldn't be as good a wall with the reduce in Roost 8 PP though, but it'd still be a pain to take down.

Given that Bisharp has finally received an evolution, it actually doesn't seem farfetched. Mandibuzz is a crowd pleaser.

Waiting on a regional variant of Mandibuzz that loses its Flying typing. Watch the PokeDex read "This Mandibuzz migrated from the Galar region, losing its ability to fly as a result of solo-carrying the entire meta"

Man I love Mandibuzz as a Pokemon. It's one of my favorites. I just feel good now because I know it holds a place in every competitive player's heart because it held OU together in gen 8. Holding it all together against a massive assault of ghost types. The old vulture earned her rest.

Vullaby with Eviolite i found to be a little better but maybe because theyre so kawaiiii ❤

I hate to hear a Pokemon that had impressive defensive stats was basically unviable in the higher tiers just due to stealth rock. Honestly it makes me wish the move was never introduced.

I hate mandibird

I wish more Pokémon were as balanced as Mandibuzz. Not unusable, but never overpowered.

I wish Braviary was Fighting/Flying, it's supposed to be about bravery and valor so making it about fighting would be good. It would also just be a nice type overall to have and make stealth rock neutral.

RIP mandi's OU career. It's now in uu. I think it's pretty good there though. Especially with trolling aegislash

I use Mandibuzz to setup weather for Zapdos and any water or fire type w/ Rain Dance, Sunny Day and U-Turn
