Dr. Kernisan, just checking in to say that i enjoy your commentaries and the topics you choose. Luckily, i'm way old but don't have any BP/heart rate problems in either direction. 👍

Very good information. Thank you!! What if the bottom number is very low and what if there isn’t much of a difference between the two numbers?

I experienced very low blood pressure last few days, I did go to the emergency room and after many tests and chest X-ray, head scan, EKG, my test results showed low sodium and dehydration, overall I have no specific issues other than BP.
I really appreciate your programs and have shared with my friends and family.

I'm 64, been on medication for many years, I have been taking my blood pressure at home for more than 10 years. My blood pressure is much higher when I go see my doctor. (yes white coat syndrome) When I take my blood pressure I sit at my desk and try to be as calm as possible. Eyes closed, quiet, no distractions. I am able to get lower blood pressure readings this way. But is this valid?

It is not my normal state of being. It is an artificial condition I use to do this test. But then, the reason I do this is because I do feel some anxiety when taking my own blood pressure. The difference in my systolic reading could be as high as 10 mm between my calm state and my not actively calm BP reading. Actively calm state is between 95 and 100 with a heart rate 47-52. (now wondering if slight dehydration is causing the low BP, but that's a different issue) It used to be higher.

My blood pressure has always been on the low side, but now has dropped lower (I'm nearly 80) and I have often experienced lightheadedness and unsteadiness. I asked my pharmacist for advice and the only suggestion has been increased salt intake. I now eat something salty every morning - and rarely have negative symptoms. Is there anything else you would suggest ?

Wow, the other day working out at the beach was feeling dizzy and not good, and it was one of the hottest days of the spring. I workout a lot at 65,but last few year have found myself get in trouble in hot environuts and stress , got back and checked, it was in the 60's
I rested and took a cool shower and recovered. I was wondering what happened , then I remembered I took a PDE5 inhibitor the night before :)) I feel that must be it
Feeling very well the next day and back to my walking and working out
Thanks for the info

We always hear about high blood pressure—but is low BP just as dangerous? Have you ever felt the warning signs? ⬇🩺😧

Hear this guys, I found this book Secrets of The First Order and I couldn’t stop reading. I finished it in one sitting because it pulled something out of me I hadn’t felt in a long time. It gave a voice to a part of me that always knew something was off with the stories we’ve been told. This book isn’t here to make you comfortable. It rips the bandages off. If you’re looking for something safe, this isn’t it. But if you’re ready to face what’s behind the curtain, this book doesn’t hold back.

Guys, this one book I stumbled upon really isn’t one of those recycled secret society books. Secrets of The First Order feels dangerous. It makes you wonder how it even got published. What hit me hardest wasn’t just what I learned, it was how much I already suspected but ignored. This book didn’t teach me something new. It made me face what I already knew deep down but never admitted.
