Not that many civs survived to this date (17-ish of 35 by my calculations), I am proud that Lithuanians still kickin :)
Ответитьwhen you were going over lithuanians this was my reaction: "+5 attack with relics? that's cool." you start scrolling over near blacksmith "there's no way they gave them blast furnace" scrolls to blacksmith "holy shit they gave them blast furnance"
ОтветитьTatars are going to be a pain to play in team games. Specially with Mongols as allies. They will boost those Light Cavalry even more.
ОтветитьThen I think going up to feudal with would be good to put some vils on stone then. How can you counter that?
ОтветитьWith the Cumans, I will now be justified for my fav strat, 30 min Castle
ОтветитьMan if the Tatars are going to have Bombard Tower, then they should have Keep as well because it makes more sense whatsoever if Keep is available while the Bombard Tower is available.
Ответитьrandom paladin => 4 hits to kill a random hallebardier. Lithuanian paladin => 3 hits to kill a random hallebardier. Of course this bonus is awsome.
ОтветитьYou think they’ll add them to the HD edition ?
ОтветитьWith full upgrades on paladins and light cavalry, Lithuanians would have among the strongest cavalry in the game. For a player that usually goes for relics anyways, it can also be counted as a free upgrade that works quietly in the background and with faster trash units and focus on cavalry, they do have the tools to guide monks back. It could force the enemy to respond with some early monks to keep these boni away. But the civ still has the flexibility to ignore relics and just focus on raiding.
I'm really looking forward to the Balts.
Imagine Lithuanians on relic nothing... Concerning Cumans, I am really curious about how efficient/inefficient would the feudal ram be. Still, they are the most interesting new civ for me
Ответитьi wish they would remove the ability to queque up technologies in buildings….thats so non-aoe2-like!
ОтветитьWas the 'arson' technology removed from the game?
ОтветитьSubscribed dude
Ответитьwow... im really gonna get this game... im not good at AOE and hate to play the old AOE as i only like 3d games... but as far as im concern... AOE is like a Tekken in RTS... so complex and hard to master... which is what i like most in gaming... im no pro nor even a very good player but playing complex games seems fun as there is always a way around if you get beaten (by same level fairly skilled player)... im not aiming to be pro but complex game is always fun.... like chess... or real life... nothing is true... anything can happen... i hope more games in the new generation will have massive complex mechanics for player to have fun with... simpler game is fun too but i was hoping to see a game that is simple to play but hard to master.... its just epic :D
ОтветитьDon't you think that Cumans additional tc is gonna be most unbalanced thing in the game? you can do crazy things with that, win percentage for this civ is gonna be unreal
ОтветитьWay too OP, like some fan mod level stuff. On the other hand we have some old civs with maybe one or two good bonuses and rest of them are inconsequential, even their UTs might be shit. These new civs on the other hand have all useful competitive bonuses, their UTs are useful. Even the new UUs are powerful with 10-14 attack it's crazy
ОтветитьKeshik seems a bit uninspired. Maybe it should also get a bonus vs trade carts and loot their carried gold. Maybe loot gold from opponent when attacking either markets or monasteries. Would force a fast reaction or to delete said building (thus crippling trade lines or loss or relics).
ОтветитьI feel like the Keshik is how the beserk for the vikings should of worked instead of healing
ОтветитьThe mini castle looks like a good counter to towers, for the price of 3 tower u can clean any tower in its range
ОтветитьI wish Mongols and Huns got steppe lancers but they all ready really good civs so i get why they dont. Same reason Indians an Ethiopians dont get battle elephants i would guess
Cuman look so front loaded, if it get to castle then they have a kinda closed tec tree and have to reline on the Hussar Cav archer spam.
Bulgarians, Cumans, Lithuanians and the Taydors
ОтветитьAll the civs are really storng and they need some nerfs to them. Their techtrees are way too open compared to older civs and they have powerful bonuses too. Theyve handed out Siege Onagers and Paladins to the new civs, thats too OP
ОтветитьBulgariants - superb choise on unique units, very interesting.
Cumans - seems to be more enoying than interesting. Players with better micromanaging will be even more devastating.
Lithuanians -Unique unit a bit boring, would love if small boost like - when below 50% hp, mounted units gains +10% to speed.
Lithuanians won lots of battles on tactical retreats, regroups and storming back.
Tatars -very interesting, but also lacks some small bonus... maybe +2-4 atk. When hp drops bellow 20% (they was savage and selfless fighters). Also since this civ settled all over the place, they could have some alternative to TC cheaper less efficient one.
Are the AOE:2-DE developers trying to troll us with Cumans or are they actually serious?I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are just trolling and will release the real civ right before the release date.
ОтветитьEhh bagains can be good for a rush or for harassment of villagers early. I'm not sure what is needed. But I can't wait for this game! I wish I could get it early. Age 2 is the most fun.
ОтветитьThe Tatars sheep bonus is nice.....that's 400 extra food minus the rot. Means less farms more wood to start, a double stable scrush maybe, would be easy and fast. They have got to toss the Turks a bone. All the new ele/archer civs and no pikes or elite skirms? They can't even use the Viet team bonus, come on mannnnn.
ОтветитьLithuanians: +150 food: good bonus, Tatars: +50% more lamb chops (8 sheep ~ 400 additional food): bad bonus, um what?
ОтветитьThey should add to the game the bombard Elephant such as Age of Empires 3 . I dont like the Tatars because they are similar to Mongols and Huns. Too much asiatic civilizations based on cavarly archers.
ОтветитьHera, later, put the new DE' songs as opening :D
ОтветитьI have the beta, but I cant play everything (some are grayed out like standard game or learn to play)
ОтветитьI think the reason Cumans are given access to rams in the Feudal Age is to counter tower rushes.
ОтветитьIt is pronounced TAR-TARs. Same as the sauce.
ОтветитьHow much food would a Kipchack cost if a Kipchack would cost food?
ОтветитьBulgars= Semi-Turkic
Tatars =Turkic and Mongolid
Cumans = Turkic

Awesome explanation, thak you
ОтветитьWhy no Poland civ?
ОтветитьCan you verify that the Krepost adds 20 pop? Looking at what is stated in the Tech Tree it looks like just the Castle give the +20 pop
ОтветитьNo Persian Empire in the main story of Definitive Edition 2. I deleted the game from my laptop :)
ОтветитьTeuton Knight : Nothing can destroy my armor
Leitis : Im gonna end this man's whole career
They should make a native american civ that gets wiped out immediately because they were too stupid to invent the wheel.
Ответитьgreat job
ОтветитьI want a "Cuman douchè" masterpiece, double TC on his face.
ОтветитьTatars/taters = PO-TAY-TOES.
ОтветитьWould be interesting to see Hera going over this video again and commenting what has changed with all the DE patches^^
ОтветитьOmg my real name is hera :o
