The little girl berating herself at the end of the video was heart breaking. No wonder so many adults have issues that dog them for decades.

This thing about the "figure out part" is so true. In many therapies it's just the therapist's and client's analyzing parts that talk to each other and guessing. Or forcing explanations on the client in worst case. I think this is one of the main benefits of IFS to be so clear about this trap! Also, I love your videos! I'm stopping almost every minute to take notes. :)

So helpful this morning as I acknowledge my IFS helper part and I have other manager parts sending messages that I need to do better/more with IFS
