There is so much of risk involved in these places that a certain level of skill is required to work with hot ....air ..... circulation ....besides the temperature and repetitive nature of work ........... skilled employees need some amount of food supplement s which was curtailed ..........and canteens are not approachable in work areas .......... impacts the work

Fantastic video looking into getting one of these beautiful machines running. Just noticed that the wheels are inside of the frame. I don't think I've ever seen a steam locomotive designed this way. Usually the drive wheels are outside the frame, with the counterbalances attached to them.

Der junge Mann weiss was er tut. Mit einer akribischen Sorgfalt und Präzision bereitet er die Lok auf ihren Einsatz vor. Er strahlt dabei eine Ruhe aus ,die bemerkenswert ist. Er liebt seine Lok und weiss genau,das sie viel Zuwendung und Sorgfalt benötigt,um lange funktionstüchtig zu bleiben. Ein sehr schönes Video,weiter so❤❤❤!!!

I was there when they were repairing an old Baldwin. Those guys are volunteers and it is a total labor of love. What they do is amazing.
